The metal surfaces retain a significant amount of their muted blue finish with high point edge wear. The top of the barrel flat is marked, “CL”. The side plate of the action is marked, “C. LEEMAN IN KUSSNACHT.” The wood stock is beautifully carved and ends with a brass clam shell trap in the butt. There is a lateral crack at the wrist. This desirable target pistol is attributed to a noted Swiss gunsmith. The bore is good, the action is crisp and markings are sharp. Est.: $600-$1,200. (Antique).

The barrel and quarter magazine retain a significant amount of muted blue finish with wear at the muzzle, light surface rust and erosion. The receiver has gone to a grey patina with a tastefully engraved game scene on one side and scroll on the other. The hammer still shows muted case hardening. The smooth wood stock is in good overall condition with mars and dents from carry and use with beautiful figure in the butt stock. The butt ends with a hard rubber butt plate which is missing a piece at the toe, providing a 13 ¼” LOP. The stock features a pistol grip, tootsie roll fore end and the metal is slightly proud at the tang. The bore is good, the action functions and the markings are sharp. Est.: $350-$700. (C+R).
