Gemini-Titan Era SCAPE Suit

This vintage Self Contained Atmospheric Protective Ensemble (SCAPE) suit was utilized by missile silo and launch-pad team members engaged in fueling and de-tanking of storable liquid propellants affiliated with the Titan launch vehicle and spacecraft reaction control systems. The suit would have included its own backpack with breathing oxygen to isolate the wearer from the hazards of hypergolic fuel and oxidizer (the propellants were extremely toxic and carcinogenic)....more

Earth Orbit Tracking Roll Chart For Blockhouse Recorder

A vintage 11" wide unused roll chart for Earth orbit tracking apparently for use in an orbit recording device in one of the blockhouses. This one was a space and is unused and ready to snap into the recorder. The chart shows all the tracking stations around the earth and probably dates to the time of the Mercury and Gemini missions.
