This Birdstone was found by Robert Bryne. He grew up in his teens in Grayson, MD and then his family moved to Culpeper, VA. He hunted in both locations.This salvaged birdstone found in 1952 on Turkey Ridge near Culpeper, VA. The family did not realize the significance of this piece- it was there father's collection. The head was anciently salvaged with tally marks on the tail and head region.
