HOW TO BID
Lot # 0B (Sale Order: 2 of 73)
To understand how to bid, please read the information below:
There are essentially 2 auctions going on.
One is online only, then the sale converts to a LIVE virtual webcast on the date indicated. If you want to start bidding now, you can place an online bid, this will begin the bidding process online. This is as simple as (after you have registered and been approved), entering in your bid amount on the lot or lots you are interested in. By doing this you will be participating in the online only portion. Please note this does not stop you from also bidding when the sale goes LIVE via Virtual Webcast. A proxy bid is a bid that will not only allow you to automatically participate in the active online bidding, but allow you to enter in your maximum bid, if you do not want to participate in the LIVE Virtual Webcast.
Bidders tend to do a combination of both online only bidding before the sale goes LIVE and proxy bidding. For example, Mr. Smith may want to bid on lots 4 and 5 in the sale. Mr. Smith may not be able to participate in the LIVE sale, but definitely wants lots 4 & 5. At this time, because he is approved to bid, Mr. Smith may login to the sale, and place a MAX bid of $100 on each lot. If Mr. Jones is also bidding on lot 4, at $25, when Mr. Smith puts his MAX $100 bid in for the lot, it will place him at the high bid at $50. If no one else bids on the lot either online, or when the sale goes live, Mr. Smith will win the lot at $50. If someone in the LIVE virtual web cast bids $60, Mr. Smith will be automatically placed as the high bidder at $70.
TO ENSURE THAT YOU ARE THE WINNING BIDDER, WE RECOMMEND ENTERING YOUR MAX BIDS INTO THE SALE AND LETTING THE SYSTEM BID ON YOUR BEHALF. FOR FURTHER SAFETY, YOU CAN WATCH AND BID ON THE LIVE SALE, IF YOU ARE OUT BID, YOU CAN INCREASE YOUR MAX BID, BY BIDDING LIVE.
Bidding in the online only arena does not stop you from bidding LIVE! If you are approved to bid, you may participate in both the online only bidding and when the sale goes LIVE via Virtual Webcast.
For the best chance of winning, place a max bid now!
HAPPY BIDDING!
