Does show some wear in the finish on the ejector rod and shroud but otherwise appears to be in great condition. Comes in the original styrofoam with barrel brush.

Features a 22" blued take down barrel, checkered perch belly wood stock and foregrip, synthetic pistol grip cap, brass round indicator, serrated steel butt plate, checkered trigger, slide lever lock, Williams adjustable peep sight, and front ramp sight with brass bead. Manufactured from 1914 to 1921 in the 145500 to 237500 serial number range, these Model 1899 rifles were developed to introduce the Charles Newton designed .250-3000 Savage cartridge. Does show some wear in the finish but truly in great condition for its age! (C&R accepted)

The 18.5 inch barrel is ported to reduce recoil and muzzle climb. The rifle features a recoil control porting and Pachmayr decelerator recoil pad to produce a surprisingly comfortable recoil similar to a 12 gauge shotgun. Walnut checkered and diamond furniture with a round pistol grip. Hammer extension, rear adjustable buckhorn sight and hooded front highlighted bead sight. This custom rifle appears to be in near new condition! Includes soft gun case.
