1900 No. 10 Black Tapered Shaft.

Lot # 702 (Sale Order: 3 of 714)

Rare black Western Electric No. 10 tapered shaft desk stand with marked back cup. Most No. 10 tapered shafts were nickel plated but Western Electric started painting their candlesticks right after the year 1900 rather than nickel plating them, because it was cheaper. This candlestick has a Western Electric outside terminal "pony" receiver. Original wooden base plate. Size 12" T.

1899 Rawson Electric Co. Potbelly.

Lot # 704 (Sale Order: 5 of 714)

It was not uncommon for telephone manufacturers to partner and allow private labeling on their telephones. With its fluted shalf, wooden potbelly base, this desk set was made by the Holtzer-Cabot Telephone Company for the Rawson Electric Company. There is a metal tag on the base, marked transmitter and correct Holtzer-Cabot outside terminal receiver. There are a few Rawson Electric Company wood wall phones out there but the Rawson Candlestick is an extremely rare telephone. Size 12 -1/2" T.

Automatic Electric Strowger with Black Base.

Lot # 707 (Sale Order: 8 of 714)

Very rare Sterling fluted shaft with a beveled transmitter and marked back cup.
