The stock has been varnished and shows scratches, scrapes and compressions; some have surfaced bare wood. There is a large crack at the buttplate screw hole that is present on both sides, the crack does flex when pressed. This crack is keeping the tension of the screw hole loose. The rear sight assembly is missing, the base is still present. The metal has been refinished and shows scratches, and discoloration from some oxidation. The markings are mostly visible but some have been obscured due to the refinshed surface. The bolt has been force matched to the cyrillic serial number.The bore is somewhat bright and the rifling is defined. There is some fouling and erosion in the barrel. A Soviet style woven sling is present.
