VEHICLE HISTORY
1. This Rolls-Royce was the first long wheelbase Silver Cloud produced and the Rolls-Royce podium display car at the 1962 Paris Salon. The James Young SCT-100 body is scaled down from the James Young bodied Rolls-Royce Phantom V and is often referred to as “The Baby Phantom”. This car is also the first left-hand drive vehicle built and one of seven ever produced. At the time the car was shown at the Paris Salon, it did not have the divider.
2. Gladys Mary Lewis-Morgan Worms, a member of the Welsh peerage and the widow of the French banker Hypolite Worms purchased the car at the Paris Salon in 1962. It was then shipped back to the Rolls-Royce factory in Crewe, United Kingdom, where the original seats were returned to stock, and a divider was installed with new front seats.
3. At the same time, the car was made compliant with French automotive laws, where the original white sealed-beam headlights were replaced with yellow sealed-beam headlights. The original Lucas fog lights were replaced with Marchal fog lights, and a plaque was installed in the engine compartment that served as certification that the car met French specifications.
4. As noted, Mrs. Worms purchased the first Silver Shadow built and was given priority over Princess Anne. She had a divider installed by the French coach builder Chapron, and the Silver Cloud III was exported to the United States in 1977.
5. The engine and transmission were rebuilt recently. The vehicle has been driven fewer than 100 miles since the time both were rebuilt.

OTHER INFORMATION

3. The vehicle is powered by a 6.2 Liter Rolls-Royce V-8 engine with a 4-Speed automatic transmission and rear wheel drive.
4. The vehicle has air-conditioning, power windows, and power door locks. It is also equipped with an aftermarket AM/FM radio.
5. The interior has been redone and is upholstered in gray leather. The woodwork in the vehicle is in excellent condition.

9. Known Damage:
• The following information was included in the Petition of Bankruptcy: ”Vehicle has significant damage. The body has to come off, and other repairs made.”
