Payment
Your credit card used upon registration will be automatically charged following the auction for your total bid price plus buyer's premium and any applicable taxes. Buyers will be charged a second time for any purchases that are shipped.
All Sales are Final. Accepted forms of payment are Visa & Mastercard or Cash on pick up. Local buyers may pay in cash with correct amount including change if they contact Hampton House Auctions prior to their credit card being charged. Best to contact Hampton House prior to Auctions close. Credit cards will be charged within 6 hours of auction end. Buyers waive any and all rights to initiate a credit card charge back against the transaction and/or the seller.
A 15% buyers premium plus a .25 cent processing fee will be charged to the credit card on file. All South Carolina residents will be charged 6% sales tax unless we have your tax number on file.

Terms Of Sale
All property is sold AS IS, WHERE IS, and ALL SALES ARE FINAL. It is the Bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Hampton House Auctions may attempt to describe the merchandise in advertising, on the Internet and at the auction but makes no representations. In no event shall Hampton House Auctions be held responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.
Hampton House Auctions will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as is and that they may not return any item they purchase.
Hampton House Auctions is providing Internet auction bidding as a service to Bidder. Bidder acknowledges and understands that this service may or may not function correctly the day of the auction. Under no circumstances shall Bidder have any kind of claim against Hampton House Auctions or anyone else if the Internet service fails to work correctly before or during the timed auction. Hampton House Auctions will not be responsible for any missed bids from any source. Internet bidders who desire to make certain their bid is acknowledged should use the proxy-bidding feature and leave their maximum bid 24 hours before the auction ends. Hampton House Auctions reserves the right to withdraw or re-catalog items in this auction.
HOLDING OF NON-PICKED UP MERCHANDISE AT CLOSE SCHEDULED PICKUP
Items not picked up on the scheduled date and time will be held by Hampton House for upto one week (7) days with a holding fee of $3.00 to $5.00 for smalls (depending on how many) & $10.00 per piece on Furniture or large items (equipment, etc) that take up alot of space. Although we know sometimes you just can not make the date and time, these fees are to encourage you make every effort to pickup or send someone on your behalf so we can move foward and have space for our next Auction.
If not picked up within one week Hampton House Auctions reserves the right to either ship your merchandise to you and charge your card on file OR charge an additional storage fee $5.00 per week.
After 30 days, the buyer forfeits merchandise and items will be re-auctioned.
SHIPPING & HANDLEING TERMS AND CONDITIONS AS FOLLOWS
Hampton House Auctions will charge a modest handling fee for packing and transporting merchandise needed to be shipped plus actually shipping cost and any packing supplies if needed.
Handling fee will range between $3-$10 depending on size of packing job. Most items will be shipped by USPS at the most reasonable cost. Example, Parcel Post, First Class, Media, Priority or in some cases Flat Rate Packaging. For insurance reasons, some packages may be taken to UPS for shipping depending on contents and size. Hampton HouseHampton House Auctions reserves the right to choose the best means of shipping per each invoice. All merchandise will be shipped by the least expensive means as possible in order to get you order to you safely.
Not picking up at auction site implies:
1-You agree to a holding fee for later pick up and/or shipping terms & conditions.
