Catalina Cyclone

Lot # 004 (Sale Order: 4 of 100)

The Catalina Cyclone is a high performance recreational boat with racing genes. It is 13 foot long with a shallow cockpit with rolled sides for easy sitting and hiking. The boat easy accommodates two, possibly 3 or 4 on a light wind day. The key to the boats performance is its tall flexible mast and big mainsail. If you have been sailing Sunfish or Lasers and now want to sail more easily with a friend, the Cyclone is for you. It is also easily single-handed with blazing speed off the wind and a real joy to sail.

This particular boat is in good condition with a small fiberglass repair at the bow. The sail is still crisp and the fiberglass daggerboard and rudder are in very good shape. Mast, boom, and all rigging are present and accounted for. Plus there is a trailer. One person can put up the mast although it's easier with two. This is a great boat for any of New Hampshire lakes and it is wicked fun.

Specifications: Length: 13 Feet, Beam:4 Feet 9 Inches, Weight: 145 lbs, Sail area: 74 sq. ft....more
