Upright Stationary Steam Engine

Nice single cylinder stationary steam engine.  Unknown on the Mfg.  Engine measures 53" tall from the bottom of base to the top of the cylinder head.  One flywheel that measures 20" X 6 1/2".  Steam chest cover has an older fix where the casting has been broke.

Steam Winch "Steam Donkey" Engine

From the mines in Montana comes this Twin Cylinder Steam "Donkey" Engine. A second motion/back gear style, shaft sinking hoist.This engine was built around 1900 and was saved by Loyd Harkins nearly 60 years ago form the Anaconda Copper Mines.  Looks to be a complete outfit and in good condition
with the rare mining rail cart. a great piece of Mining History!!

Smith Brothers Iron Works Steam Engine

SMITH BROTHERS  IRON WORKS STEAM ENGINE.  This engine ls an early example on wood skids. Estimated circa 1870,-1880's Smith Brothers stationary steam engine built in Portland Oregon . A rare and unique example of of this make. Notice the tall steam dome and boiler design possibly
the earliest example of of this west coast builder.

Circa 1885 J.I. CASE Portable Engine

Estimated Circa 1884
Great example of an early Case steam portable engine.  This Case engine is from a collector in Oregon and has been tucked away in storage for over 20 years. Reputed to have been found at an abandoned mine after the war. Appears to be complete with Judson governor and the iconic early ORIGINAL OLD ABE SMOKE BOX DOOR!!  This was before Abe started sitting on top of the world.  More info coming !!

1910 16HP Russell

Complete 16HP Russell steam engine built in 1910.   This little engine hasn't been steamed in a few years but looks to be ready to roll.  Rubber tread has been added to the wheels for a smoother ride.  This Russell has had a recent cosmetic lift with NEW paint all the way around and an original Russell steam gauge that has been restored!

Port Huron Steam Engine

Port Huron 19/65HP Steam Engine

Lot # 183 (Sale Order: 186 of 437)      

1914 19/65 Port Huron steam engine with current inspection papers from Pennsylvania.  This Port Huron has an older restoration but still has the factory locomotive style cab with canopy, with the original tool box's, locking windows, and a new canvas curtain for the rear of cab.  This engine has been fired most years and has been well taken care of. The cast wheels do show signs of road wear, but gearing looks to be in good overall condition.  There has been some repair work to the smoke box, please see pictures.  The engine was last inspected on 7/23/2019 and given a 125 MAWP since this engine has a lap seam boiler.  All inspection paper work will come with the engine!

Crown Locomotive

Beautiful Crown Locomotive.  This locomotive is from a collector in Oregon and has been operated in the past few years.  This locomotive was built in 1960 and comes complete with rolling stock.  A passenger car [12] , dump car, and a caboose!  There are extra truck wheels in the caboose.  A complete set of the trucks that are finished will go to the bottom dump ballast car!

Live Steam Locomotive and Flat Car

Absolutely beautiful 1" scale 0-2-0 steam locomotive.and flat car, both have heavy duty transport cases.  

Attention to detail was clearly given when this steamer was being built in the 1970's, Started around 1974.  Removable cab roof for easy excess during operation to throttle, water feed, forward and reverse lever and other other cab features.  This locomotive has not been under steam since at least 1992, last run it was cleaned and put in a glass showcase for display.

Railroad flat car that measures 10.5" wide and 41 3/4" long.  Good heavy car that is ready to be added to your railroad rolling stock

Auburn Convertible

Completely rebuilt, straight eight engine of 98 horsepower that starts and runs great. This car is a very sound example, wearing the well-known Ron Pray Speedster Body and fenders built upon a genuine 1931 Auburn chassis, complete with all Auburn drive train and working 2 speed rear axle. It presents itself in nice, usable, condition from a 30-year-old build. This car starts, runs and drives very well and is routinely driven to shows and events day or night. All the looks and feel of a $300,000 classic of classics for a fraction of the price. Even the wife will smile with a Honey, look what followed me home grin.

Packard 8

This 1932 Packard 902 series model 543 has a completely rebuilt 319 C.I.D. straight eight engine that starts and runs excellent. The car has original paint with a great patina, tattered original interior, with fully functional lights, brakes, good tires and gauges. It is regularly driven 100+ miles at 60 mph, with no issues. 1920 J.I. CASE Coupe

Extremely RARE J.I.CASE four passenger coupe,
THE ONLY ONE KNOWN LEFT TO EXIST!!!!!!!!!!!
with this body style!  This Case car has all ways been under cover and in  dry storage for 20 plus years but is back to running condition.  The car has an older repaint that shows some age and, but is quite presentable! The interior, engine and chassis are all original and still look good for a nearly 100 year old car. We have massaged the engine and it starts and runs very well.  The car sports a very desirable  original Case moto-meter.  According to the serial number this car would be a 50 HP Model V.  Serial No. 36517
A very sought after addition to any Auto or Case Collectors Stable

1912 110 HP CASE TRACTION ENGINE

Lot # 190 (Sale Order: 193 of 437)      

One of the nicest examples of a complete and fully restored 1912 110 HP Case steam engine.  In 2012 this 110 Case received a complete restoration and partial rebuild.  New mud rings and flues were installed on boiler including a new smokestack. All new axle shafts and new front axle were installed. The wheels were all bored and bushed with oilite bronze.  The cannon bearings have been bored and brass bushings have been installed.  All links were bored and sized to fit cannon bearings.  The cannon bearings were turned and sleeves wedged on the outside.  The piston rod has been replaced with a new stainless rod.  The power steering has been completely rebuilt, the governor has been rebuilt, new grates, rebuilt clutch and the cross head pump has been rebuilt.  All the gearing on this engine has been resized and bushed to fit new shafts.  This engine was restored and rebuilt for field work and will be fired on Friday, November 15.  Boiler has an MAWP of 140 PSI from the state of MN.   THIS ENGINE ALSO FEATURES THE BAKER VALVE OPTION !!!  If that wasn't enough, selling with the engine is the FULL set of factory wrenches! 
SHE REALLY BARKS UNDER A LOAD !!!!

1917 40-80 Avery

One of the finest examples of a 40-80 Avery.  This tractor comes from a well known collector in Kansas and has been given the attention it deserves.  In 1996 the engine had the pistons resized and new sleeves installed.  Valves have been ground and installed new guides to fit.  This 40-80 has had the engine and mechanical work done including a new radiator core. this engine is ready to go to work and will be demonstrates Friday Nov 15, weather permitting.

John Deere 12 Bottom Plow

One of the best examples of a John Deere 12 bottom plow to come across the auction block.  This twelve bottom plow has been fully restored and rebuilt from the ground up and completed with a brand new platform.  The plow was partially disassembled for mobilization reasons but will be back assembled and back to working order before auction day .  This John Deere has been on display and in use for several years at the Western Minnesota Steam Threshers Reunion.

27-44 Twin City

Lot # 195 (Sale Order: 200 of 437)      

Beautifully restored with attention to detail Twin City 27-44 tractor with the RARE factory operators canopy. Production of the 27-44 was stopped in 1929 but in 1934 the factory realized they had a lot of leftover parts in the warehouse. The decision was made to produce more tractors out of the remaining parts so an additional 43 were made between 1934 and 1935 and this tractor is one of them. 

The engine was completely rebuilt on this tractor including the carb, magneto and the water pump was rebuilt with a stainless shaft. All new seals were installed and new brass bushings in the wheels. The sheet metal is all new and professionally made. You will not find a nicer tractor that is work or show ready. Come see it plow on Friday in the field north of the auction.
