Understand that the final determination of the authenticity and condition of the items listed are up to the participants of the auction. The auction house performs its own due diligence for the purposes of accurate descriptions, but due to the high volume of items there are things that can be missed or overlooked. In person inspection is permitted at our premises during business hours, until 48 hours before the first lot closes in the auction. All items are sold for the purpose of being collection pieces, and should be inspected by a professional before engaging in the original intended use.

 

Should you win the item(s) you are bidding on, the following information will expedite our processing times and get your item(s) to you faster. Once the auction has closed, your card on file will be charged on the next business day for the lot(s) you have won. A credit card fee of 3% of the total will be charged. We only accept cards as a form of payment; we do not accept check, money order, wire transfer, cash or pay pal.

 

Once your order is processed, the card on file will be charged for shipping. We calculate and charge shipping separately in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible for individuals who win our auctions. If you are local, you are welcome and encouraged to pick up your order at the address below.

 

In the event that your card does not process through Proxibid's payment system, we will email you a link to a payment portal. If payment for the item(s) through this link, a separate link will be sent for shipping when the label is created.

 

If payment is not received within 7 days of the Auction closing, the won items will be forfeited and relisted.

 
  • Orders for firearms will not be processed until a valid FFL is sent to auctions@oldsteelguns.com.

 

  • Orders for antiques (MFG before 1898) and black powder guns will not be processed until proper identification (I.E: a driver's license or government issued photo ID) is sent to auctions@oldsteelguns.com.

 

If proper documentation (Valid FFL to ship to for firearms, Photo ID for antiques) is not provided within 30 days of the auction closing you will be refunded for the item(s) less a 20% restocking fee and they will be relisted.

 

We do not send invoices right away. This is due to our charging shipping separately in order to keep shipping costs as low as possible for individuals who win our auctions. You will receive a complete invoice with a tracking number once shipping has been paid. If you would like an incomplete invoice, we can send one by request. In this case, the invoice will not reflect shipping costs.

Collins & Co No. 37 Machete - with Victory Plastics Scabbard

Add this Collins & Co. Machete to your collection. This No 37 machete has an 18 inch blade and a black grip. Engraved on the blade is the crest of Collins & Co and their trademark "legitimus" dating this particular machete before 1966. Alongside those engravings is made in the U.S.A and the marking No. 37. The machete all around is in exception condition. The scabbard by Victory Plastics is engraved to 1963. The scabbard is in great condition with some honest wear. Reverse from the year mark the scabbard is engraved U.S. Whether for an outdoor utility machete or a collection piece this machete can fit all your needs!

WW2 German Luftwaffe Dagger - 1st Pattern - Original Eickhorn Solingen

S.A. M-1904 Hospital Corps Bolo Knife - Bowie Point Cut

Bid today on this pre World War 1 Springfield Model-1904 Hospital Corps bolo knife with a bowie point cut. This 12 inch blade was made in 1904 as shown by the stamped blade. Reverse of the year is the U.S. stamp with the serial number 2138 is all clearly legible. The blade has a distinct and handsome patina to it. The ergonomic wooden grip still sturdy and comfortable to hold allows for a firm grasp of the machete. The cross guard is in excellent condition and is robust enough to hold the hand back from the blade. Still sharp to the touch this machete is a unique addition to anyones collection.

The blade has been shortened to a more cutlass sized sword and remains balanced about 2 inches forward of the guard with a 21 inch blade length. With nothing more than some light patina, this sword is in excellent shape, especially considering its age. The fittings are all nice and tight and wire wrapped leather grip remains tight. An excellent addition to American sword collections!

Vietnam War Unmarked Special Forces Bolo Knife - with Canvas Scabbard

Impress your friends with this Vietnam special forces bolo knife. In 1963, the Counter-Insurgency Support Office started to issue bolo machetes like this one to special forces commands in Vietnam due to the standard machetes being too long. Today, you can add this 11 inch machete to your collection. The thick curved blade still holding the sharpened edge, while the wooden grip is sturdy and ergonomically pleasing to hold offers a strong base to the blade. Held by three brass bolts with a short para chord lanyard attached to it. The canvas scabbard appears to be original with a metal throat to it. In excellent condition this scabbard secures the blade really well and completes the set perfectly.

Set your sights on this beautiful Kukri. This kukri has an unidentified symbol on the ricasso show casing an arrow above a crescent shape. This 13 inch blade and is still sharp. The wooden grip in excellent condition offers a comfortable and strong grip. In this set there is also, the associated Karda utility knife in superb condition also still sharp. Completing this set is the scabbard and belt both made of leather in outstanding condition. The scabbard is dated and marked to 1932. An amazing piece to add to any collection!

WW 1 U.S. Model 1910 S.A. Bolo Knife

Here's your chance for a World War 1 Model 1910 bolo knife. This knife made by Springfield Armory in 1912 has a 10 inch patina'd blade. Along side the Springfield Armory stamp sits the U.S. Ordinance flaming bomb. On the reverse side sits the U.S. stamp and the serial number 13313. The robust blade held in by the wooden grips create a strong foundation for this machete. The left side grip has been split. The top of the cross guard is not present on this knife. An excellent knife fuming with stories that would be at home in any collection!

M-1 Fighting Knife Clone

WW1 French Model 1837 Naval Officer Sword - With Scabbard - Modified

Add this World War 1 Model 1837 Sword to your collection. Carried by French officers, this particular sword was designed by French sword makers F. Delacour & Backes manufactured by G.P. Chatellerault and dated to August of 1914. This sword beautifully modified down to be 10 inches. Complete with the scabbard, which was also modified to fit the new blade length. The scabbard is in excellent condition whilst boasting an eloquent patina. The blade has been well preserved in its new length with only a slight patina to the blade adding to the historic appeal. Springfield Armory 1913 Patton Cavalry Saber Blade - Tipped - No Grips/Guard

For this lot we have the blade and tang of a 1913 Patton cavalry saber. The blade has been tipped and remains at about 23 inches of length with a slight curve toward the broken end. The tang is solid and in good condition. No guard or grip panels present. Ricasso shows S A surrounding a flaming bomb with 1913 below. On the reverse of the ricasso is US above the serial number 6047.
