1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe

Lot # 17 (Sale Order: 17 of 201)

1987 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe with 59k Original Miles. 2.3l 4cylinder turbo engine with 5 speed manual transmission. 2 owner car was with the original owner until 2019 when I bought it. He and his wife purchased the car new in New Hampshire and drove it sparingly as a second and then moved the car to Cape Cod, Massachusetts where it has remained through present ownership. Original window sticker from their purchase in 1987 goes with the car.

Very unique car in nice condition that you don't often see--it's comfortable, quick and a lot of fun to drive. The Thunderbird Turbo Coupe was Motor Trend's 1987 Car of the year and was an American coupe with a European Grand Touring Flair. Thanks to the Turbo 4 cylinder engine, especially combined with the 5 speed, this car has plenty of power while being surprisingly fuel efficient. It's engaging on back roads, comfortable on the highway.

Turbo Coupe runs and drives great, has a recent set of Michelin tires with only 1500 miles on them, just passed MA inspection without any issue for another year and is ready for its next owner to drive and enjoy.
