SUDIE BELLE ANIMAL SANCTUARY will appear on your credit card on file with Proxibid. Please do not do a chargeback because you don’t recognize our name. If we’re shipping your items, our name will appear **twice** on your statement. If you do a chargeback, we’re charged $35. Therefore, I’ll have to pass that fee back to you. ~~~if you have a problem with anything you receive from us, please call me at 706-819-9600 **before** you do your Proxibid ratings. You’ll find our customer service far beyond your expectations. I can’t do anything about a problem I don’t know about. Our auction is #1 in our category, and our rating is above 4.75%. Putting a complaint on the rating form will not get you the same warm results as a phone call ahead of the rating. There’s only one of me. My husband has terminal cancer and I have 40+ rescued animals to care for in addition to his needs. If you don’t call me, anything less than a 5 on any part of the rating will get you banned permanently from our auction. ~~~ I can’t do anything about what the U.S. Post office charges for shipping. We try to keep your shipping costs as low as possible, but if you haven’t checked postal rates recently, you really should. ~~~ if you feel the need to call us to inquire about shipping fees, please do so the day after the auction ends because we like to get things out the door quickly. And, yes, I do charge a fee to get your items to the shipper. I live in a micro-town, and the nearest shipping company is 20 miles away. I have an after-school helper who pulls your items off the shelf, bags them, and puts them in my truck. I then drive your items to the next town to have them shipped for you. I do have to pay for gas, and my after-school helper. Thus the small handling fee. Please know this in advance, and if you’re going to gripe about it on your rating form, please don’t bid. I cannot personally ship all the items since my time is limited with my husband’s cancer problems. ~~~ For those complaining about our 16% buyer’s premium, 11% goes to Proxibid, and the rest to our credit card processor. ~~~ Please note: we are not coin collectors, nor do we grade our own coins. I try to describe the items to the best of my ability and will describe any defects AS I SEE THEM. I am not an expert on anything. All sales ARE FINAL, purchased AS IS, and NOT RETURNABLE. Look at the pictures carefully! Your winning bid is a LEGAL BINDING CONTRACT and you accept our TERMS when you bid. Bidders understand and acknowledge that it is their responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Sudie Belle Animal Safe Habitat, Inc. shall endeavor to describe each item and any pertinent information about it, but will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise. Most of our items are on consignment and we depend on our consignors to accurately describe them and send appropriate pictures. If an item has a flaw and Sudie Belle Animal Safe Habitat, Inc. is aware of that flaw, we will mention it in the item description. If we are not aware of a flaw, it will not be mentioned and Sudie Belle Animal Safe Habitat, Inc. will not be held responsible for the item's condition. Therefore, ask questions before you bid, not afterward.
We don't have time to clean all items before an auction. Frequently the items are stored in a warehouse. With the total number of items up for auction, time doesn't allow us to give them all a thorough cleaning.
Please don't rate our customer service low because you have no way of knowing what our service is like unless you first give me a call to see how I will handle any problem that you may have. Putting remarks on the rating form doesn't mean I see it immediately, so a phone call is preferred. Putting nasty comments without ever calling me can guarantee you that you will be banned from future auctions.
AS FOR OUR 16% BIDDER'S FEE, rest assured there is very little profit in that. Just about all of that is eaten up with fees that we have to pay for you to be able to enjoy our auctions. Complaining about it won't change it. DON'T BID IF YOU ARE GOING TO RATE US LOW BECAUSE OF THE BIDDER'S FEE.
