States on the right side of the butt stock, United States to the bottom edge of the butt stock together with incorrect bayonet, 39 1/2" barrel. Provenance: The Firearms & Militaria Collection of Robert Spangler Jr., West Chester, Pennsylvania. Condition: Appears to be a musket made from both US and European military parts, the lock is European with the stock appearing to be early French with a long wrist, barrel may have been put in upside down as there is no front sight and a dovetail on the bottom of the muzzle end, there are numerous initials carved into the buttstock, missing ramrod. | Estimate: $500-1000...more
