DRC marked flush windage knob & serrated elevation knob. Post WW-II cyl. lock for grenade use plus late WW-II production lock screw. M5A1 bayonet marked "MIL PAR COL" having M8A1 sheath. Green canvas sling. Stock w/ "P" & "H" in front of grip plus boxed "RIA / EB" on left of butt. CONDITION: very good metal finish w/ most loss on gas cyl. & buttplate. Replacement buttstock of plain American walnut measures 14 1/4" over a checkered Bishop buttplate. Stock features Monte Carlo comb, swept right hand shadowline cheekpiece and slightly Schnabeled tip. CONDITION: good. Bbl. retaining most newly applied cold blue. Action and bottom metal have most original parkerized finish. Screw slots show some turning. Stock retains most of its oil finish. Tangent aperture rear sight adj. for windage graduated w/ Arabic numbers. Blade front sight w/ protective ears. Bayonet lug is present. European walnut stock set. Unmarked brass disk on right side of butt. Brass trap buttplate. Military type leather 1" carry strap. 10 rd. non detachable mag. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: bayonet & scabbard in good overall condition. CONDITION: stock set has attractive original finish w/ light wear, scattered handling marks, dowel repair at heel. Metal retains 80% original finish w/ light wear & scattered handling marks. Mfg. 1916 w/ matching numbered nose cap, rear sight (crossed out prior #) & bol...moret having "M" marked head; forend numbered beginning w/ "62" (balance not readable). Non cartridge cutoff receiver having CAI import mark on right rear of receiver. Walnut stock set w/ brass buttplate. Swivel on forend band & stacking swivel on nose cap plus lanyard loop on trigger guard (no provision for swivel). Unmarked faded green canvas sling w/ brass ends. Unusual spring loaded trapdoor muzzle cover. "III" on safety lever. Wilkerson bayonet w/ 17" fuller blade marked "1907" & "1 '17". Leather covered scabbard w/ blued metal ends. MAGS: 1 good plus 10 rd. w/ broad arrow, crown over "16B" & "4" at base; follower marked "3 V". UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: very good tan canvas carry bag having attached tan brass ended sling marked "M.E. Co 1913" on brass end. CONDITION: fair to good overall appearance. Noticeable numerous stock marks on oil finished stock set having brass buttplate & walnut disk in place of brass disk. Very good refinished metal w/ slight high point wear such as rear sight ears. Fair to good bayonet w/ patina in handle area. Oiled appearance to leather on scabbard plus light marks & patina on metal ends. Generally bright bore w/ wear & even light pitting throughout. Mfg. by LSA in 1912 & altered by Ishapore in 1925 to single shot for ...moreguard duties by adding walnut filler block retained by 2 wood pins plus metal single shot loading platform. Nose cap (ready for swivel but missing), right front of receiver, rear sight (crossed out 14001) bottom of stock behind nose cap & bolt handle all numbered L41351; bottom right of socket numbered 5282. Bottom left of socket w/ "SL" / "RFI" / "1925". "LY" crossed out over chamber on receiver plus "EY" crossed out over top rear of bbl. Numerous proofs & marks throughout. Brass buttplate plus blank stock disk. CONDITION: about good appearance overall w/ numerous stock marks. Very good metal finish w/ some high point wear. Good worn bore w/ even light frosting. (22-591/NW). CURIO. $350-500.
