Rare Large 15” Overbeck Pottery Arts & Crafts Vase with an exceptional Military Parade Design. The bottom is Impressed with the Overbeck Monogram over “E” Elizabeth and “F” Mary Francis. Handcrafted singular work. Two toned Blue Matte Pottery. Rare due to Size and Design. Military Parade Procession Headed by the Auxiliaries carrying two American flag and Banners, Band Director carrying a Baton and wearing a Shako with a Plume, Brass Players, Battery Percussion, followed by three Horseback riders the first carrying the American flag and then two Officers all leading the soldiers on foot in Close Order Formation carrying the Fourth American flag. Found from a local Estate. We believe the soldiers may be WWI but you be the finial judge. This vase has a fun design depicting a different detailed view of the military parade each time you take a rotating turn. No chips or cracks, does have some minor rub marks on the widest part of the vase. This is a beautifully shaped vase with a captivating design when seen in person. Have fun bidding. NO Reserve. This vase will truly be the highest bidders highlight of their Overbeck collection. Provenance Update-The Sellers Parent received a Ceramics Degree from New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University, Alfred New York under Charles Fergus Binns. Elizabeth Overbeck also Studied Ceramics under Charles Fergus Binns during 1909-1910. Family Members are uncertain how this vase was obtained by their Parents.
