My name is Kayla Kembro and I am the daughter of Brian and Kimberly Kembro. I am in the 9th grade at Trinity High School and the current President of the Trinity Area 4H chapter. I have been an active member of 4H for 7 years and will expand my agricultural youth membership to FFA this year as a Freshman. My scholastic achievements include; Honor Roll for years K-8 th grade, Junior Beta Club President, Student Council President and numerous UIL competition achievements to include, 2nd in National Beta Competition for Service Snapshot in 2020. This year I will be exhibiting my Charolais crossbred Steer, Cowboy, at the Trinity Community Fair in October. Through my passion for competition, I have embraced a fanatical interest in animals, especially cattle from a child growing up, and so have participated in over 100 cattle shows; 12 of which were State of Texas majors. Placing in the top 2 Hereford Heifer Division for two consecutive years within the Texas Junior Livestock Association (TJLA) and placing first in the State of Texas TJLA for Intermediate Showmanship in 2019. Apart from the above, I have kept a keen interest in large animals and enjoy swimming, softball and art, and most importantly spending time with my loved ones, both two and four legged.
