Payment
We accept personal checks (takes 7 to 10 days to clear), money orders, wire transfer, and Visa and MasterCard. You will receive an invoice for all lots you won after the auction within 24 hours after the auction. Unless you have made other arrangements with us, we will charge your credit card on file with Proxibid for your invoice amount no earlier than 4 hours and no later than 24 hours after invoices are e-mailed. Please note that unless you are an established customer, credit card purchases will be limited to $2,500. For purchases in excess of $2,500, we will contact you for payment via money order, cashier's check, or wire transfer. We apologize for any inconvenience, but this policy is due to pervasive credit card fraud. Upon request, we will reimburse you for any fees involved in obtaining a money order, cashier's check, or a wire transfer (up to $30).
Full payment is required prior to delivery of any lot to the buyer. If your credit card is declined, we will process it again the next day. If your credit card is declined again, you will be given three days (72 hours) to make payment arrangements or you will be considered in default and the lots you won are subject to be resold. Payment for all lots must be received by us no later than 10 days following the auction or lots are subject to resale to backup bidders. Capitol Coin Auctions shall not be liable to the bidder for any damages caused to the bidder for failure to pay for their lot(s) within the required time. Any deficiency, together with all expenses and costs of resale, will be the responsibility of the defaulting bidder. In no event shall the amount owed by the defaulting bidder be less than the Buyer's Premium printed on the bidder's original invoice.
BY REGISTERING FOR THIS AUCTION, THE BUYER ACKNOWLEDGES THAT THEY AGREE WITH ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS POSTED FOR THIS AUCTION. BUYER AGREES TO NOT CHARGE BACK ANY PURCHASE MADE ON A CREDIT CARD OR STOP PAYMENT ON ANY CHECK OR WIRE TRANSFER FOR ANY REASON.

Terms Of Sale
• Unless you are an established customer, credit card purchases will be limited to $2,500.
• For on-line bidders, a 15% buyer’s premium will be applied to the hammer price of each lot.
• This auction will be conducted LIVE on-site as well as LIVE on-line through Proxibid. Bidders may also place absentee bids prior to the auction by contacting Capitol Coin Auctions by telephone, mail, or e-mail if they will not have internet access for live bidding. The same Terms and Conditions apply to absentee bidders.
• Lots may be viewed the day of the auction beginning at least one hour prior to the auction as well as during the live auction. If a bidder cannot attend the lot viewing, they may contact the auction company for detailed descriptions or personal opinions of individual lots.
• All Proxibid bidders must be pre-approved before they can bid. In most cases, the approval process is automatic. Occasionally, manual intervention is required, and approvals will be handled as quickly as possible. It is possible that requests just prior to or during the live auction may not receive timely attention, so please register as early as possible.
• Indiana sales tax (7%) applies to purchases delivered to Indiana addresses.
• We receive bids from absentee bidders via e-mail, fax, and phone. In the event such an absentee bid is the high bid, it may display as a floor bid in the Proxibid software, as Proxibid does not have an alternative method of describing absentee bids.
• All lots are sold “AS IS” with no warranties. Sales are final with no returns except for reason of authenticity (proof of non-authenticity is required by PCGS or NGC, two respected independent third party grading companies). We go to great efforts to ensure that all lots are described accurately and thoroughly, and that detailed photos are provided to assist our bidders.
• While we make every effort to provide clear and accurate photographs as well as an experienced opinion of grade and description, we DO NOT guarantee the grade or condition of any item. We strongly encourage interested bidders to view lots and/or ask questions about any lot(s) of interest prior to the auction. If you have any questions about any lot, please contact us by e-mail at capitol-auctions@insightbb.com.
• The Buyer is responsible for the cost of shipping and insurance. In nearly all cases, we use the US Postal Service for shipping. Using our extensive experience, we estimate shipping and insurance costs on invoices sent out right after the auction. We are very conservative, as we do not want to overcharge our buyers. If you have questions about shipping options or costs, please contact us and we will be happy to assist you. NOTE: WE DO NOT CHARGE A HANDLING OR PACKING FEE !
• Capitol Coin Auctions shall be neither financially nor legally responsible for any problems a bidder may experience with any electronic equipment or Proxibid software that may constrain or prohibit online bidding. In the event that you experience problems with online bidding, we ask that you please contact Proxibid.
• Sellers are prohibited from bidding on their own lots. However, sellers reserve the right to place reserves on any of their lots prior to the auction.
• In case of a dispute during the auction, the decision of the Auctioneer is final.
• Capitol Coin Auctions reserves the right to deny bidding privileges or terminate the registration of any bidder at its sole discretion. By registering as a bidder, you affirm that the personal information you provide is accurate and that you are at least 18 years of age or older and are legally able to enter into a contract.
• While we make every attempt to point out any issues we see with any item, Capitol Coin Auctions makes no warranties or representations: a) that any item
has or has not been cleaned, mishandled, damaged, repaired, tooled, etc.; b)
that any item is gradable or will achieve a certain grade by any third party grader; or, c) that any item has a particular provenance. The Bidder agrees that grading is
subjective and that an item's grade has a material effect on value; that others may
differ with the grading opinions or interpretations of third party graders, Capitol Coin Auctions, or others; and that such difference of opinion is not grounds for return, refund, exchange, or price adjustment. As an accommodation to Bidders, Capitol Coin Auctions may announce, advertise or present the grade and/or description of a third party grading service - or provide its own description and/or opinion of grade if there is no third party grading service opinion - without any guarantee whatsoever. Each Bidder shall determine his/her own opinion of grade, condition, and value prior to bidding.
• Buyers agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless Capitol Auctions LLC, including its affiliates, directors, officers, employees, agents, or partners, from and against any and all claim, loss, damage, liabilities, judgments, fees and expenses incurred through the use of the Proxibid bidding platform.
• WE APPRECIATE YOUR PATRONAGE AND THANK YOU FOR YOUR BIDS !
• IF YOU WISH TO CONSIGN TO A FUTURE AUCTION, please contact us at (812) 431-6547 or by e-mail at capitol-auctions@twc.com for friendly terms and fast service.
