U.S. Springfield Armory, Model 1922 M1, .22 long rifle only, s/n 16425, rifle, brl length 24", very good plus condition, bolt action, Manufactured in the second style with an NRA type smooth walnut stock, barrel and receiver drilled tapped and plugged for scope blocks. Having a Lyman 48C receiver sight and Lyman globe front sight. Barrel is marked "SA/flaming bomb/I-28". The trigger is serrated and the rifle comes with one magazine and a period correct leather sling. Walnut stock shows little overall wear with the metal surfaces showing light thinning at muzzle, butt plate, bolt safety and on barrel band showing little light handling wear. The bolt is pencil etched to the receiver. Very nice example of an M1 1922. Bore shines very bright with standard crown. 15-3-21

Zettlemoyer Auction Company accepts payment by wire transfer, cash at pickup, money orders or cashier's check. Payment is also accepted by Visa, Master Card, Discover, subject to a 3% surcharge. Payment must rec'd by us prior to noon June 10, 2020 (Buyer pays wire transfer fees)
6% Pa Sales Tax will be charged on all sales to Pennsylvania buyers unless you have a current Pa Sales Tax Exemption Form on file with us along with a copy of your Sales Tax License.
Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice by email. Invoices will be emailed within 1 hr. of the end of the auction.
For any modern firearm purchases under $100 being picked up at Fogelsville Auction Center there will be a $10 Insta-check fee for the first firearm under $100 and $4 for each additional firearm selling under $100 on the same invoice. NO fee on firearms selling over $100 ea.

Gun grading is a subjective process, this guide is developed using a combination of NRA, Blue Book and The Standard Catalog, The “Percentage” System and current standard industry practice. Everyone has their own opinion, this guide will hopefully help us to communicate conditions to you clearly. NEW – Unused, same condition as Factory. 100%
USED But in Like New Condition – May have been slightly used, but shows no wear, perfect condition. Modern guns = 99-100%
EXCELLENT – May show slight use, no easily noticeable mars or defects, minimal bluing wear, mainly slight at edges and muzzle, few to no scratches. Modern Guns = 90-99%; Old Guns = 80-99%
VERY GOOD PLUS – Shows slight wear, only minor defects or dings and scratches. Nice looking bluing but worn at edges and muzzle.
Modern Guns = 85-90%; Old Guns 70-80%
VERY GOOD – Some wear on finish and operating surfaces, no corrosion, maybe some light freckling. Could have minor dents and scratches.
Modern Guns = 70-85%; Old Guns = 60-70%.
GOOD – Finish may be worn from use or carry, wearing on operating surfaces. Could have some pitting and light corrosion/freckling. Dings & scratches, but they should not interfere with function.
Modern Guns = 50-70%, Old Guns = 30-60%.
FAIR – Well worn finish or possibly none left at all. May have corrosion and pitting.
Modern Guns = 20-50%, Old Guns = 1-30%
POOR – Worn out or rusty, sold mainly for parts or repair.
Zettlemoyer Auction co. does not test fire any gun and therefore can not indicate if any gun we sell will function properly.
