A German commercial Walther HP (Heeres Pistole) produced by Walther. Pistol has matching frame, slide, barrel, and locking block with mismatched magazine numbered "4081" with electro-penciled "4323" on right side and Waffenamt 88 on back. Pistol appears to have been refinished as no Eagle N proof marks are present on slide with Walther markings on slide being slightly faded. Blued finish is in good condition with some finish wear and loss on edges. Slide has some minor pitting on left side near markings and on top cover. Checkered wood grips are in overall fair condition with several minor chips on top of back strap where the 2 grip halves meet. Bore is shiny with worn but visible rifling and minor pitting throughout. A fair example of an uncommon Walther handgun. See photos. C&R eligible firearm. SN: 13395
