Federal Laboratories Gas Riot Gun, #5133, 1.5 cal., 12'' barrel, 27-3/4'' overall, break-top action, blue finish, plum colored receiver, walnut stock and grips, plastic butt pad, brass bead front sight, 50 yard integral rear sight, additional flip-up rear sight with 75 & 100 yard apertures, with added front barrel band/sling swivel and rear sling swivel attached to stock. Condition is fine to near excellent overall retaining approx. 97% blue. Wood with a fair amount of light to moderate scuffs, scratches and impressions. Action and bore are excellent. The main issue with this item is the installation of the rear sling swivel. Stock was slightly over notched at both ends and was left with a small ''waffle'' mark from hammer. Other than that this item has normal signs of age, use, and is a fine example. Est.: $450-$650....more

Scarce International Flare-Signal Co. Flashlight Pistol with Attachment, made of polished aluminum, maker's marks are cast into both sides of grip, aluminum attachment curves in a downward motion in front of barrel and appears to be for deflecting debris and light. Attachment is also mfg'd by and marked International Flare-Signal Co. We believe that these flashlight pistols were used for photography as well as a possible handheld signaling device similar to a road flare. Does not fire a projectile. Condition is very good with light to moderate scuffs and scratches; attachment with some darkening to metal. Maker's marks are clear. An interesting piece worth further research. (Probably not original.) Iron scabbard with two brass rings, chape and throat. Condition is good with moderate carbon spotting and corroded blade. Leather grip and wire wrap appear to be of newer mfg. Remnants of leather washer remain. Casting work is crude. Plow Works nomenclature lacks definition. (2) Civil War Model 1840 Light Artillery Saber, dated 1862, by Ames, 32'' blade, 38'' overall, in two-ring iron scabbard. Condition is very good with moderate carbon spotting to blade and added preservative. Leather grip with scuffs, vertical split to handle from shrinkage, and good wire wrap. Hilt is marked ''109''. English Royal Army Medical Corps Officer's Sword, Pattern 1892, by Henry Wilkinson, Pall Mall, London, beautifully etched 32-3/8'' blade, ''(crown)/VR'' pierced guard, wire wrapped skateskin grip, in correct three-piece brass and leather scabbard by Wilkinson. Condition is good with moderate carbon spotting to polished blade. Losses and thinning to skate grip. Beautiful detail to pierced royal cipher. Leather portion of scabbard has wear-thru in some points, but shows very well with nice detail. Needs repair and should be handled delicately. Drag portion of scabbard with flat edge at bottom allowing blade to poke thru approx. 1/8''. Est.: $200-$400....more
