1968 Wolseley 1100

Lot # 101 (Sale Order: 1 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 1.1L 1968 Wolseley 1100 automatic that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 98/135. One Registered keeper and just 28,051 miles. This highly original car is said to be showing just one registered lady owner from new. This car will be issued with a fresh MoT certificate before the sale. There is a little bit of confusion over the history of this car. There is no question that it was delivered to Dingwall in Orkney to its one lady owner in her 65th.year just after passing her driving test. It was delivered on the 16th May 1968 with 602 miles on the clock and we believe she was the only user of the vehicle, however we are not sure how you can do 28,000 miles in Orkney. We suspect even the Postman couldn't get up there in a lifetime. Perhaps there is a fault with the speedometer. All will be revealed by the time of the auction. Exterior: 4/5, Interior: 4/5, Engine: 3/5, Transmission: 3/5, Running gear: 4/5, Electrics: 3/5, Vehicle history: 3/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

1992 BMW E30 318i Convertible 'Design Edition'

Lot # 102 (Sale Order: 2 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 1796L 1992 BMW E30 318i Convertible 'Design Edition' manual that has been with the current owner for the last 4 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 100/135. A very well presented E30 Cabriolet....E30 convertibles are now becoming very desirable and are starting to appreciate in value and here we have one of only 200 'Neon Blue Design Edition' models. This particular car has been well maintained by its current vendor regardless of cost and has benefitted recently from a new hood with electrics amongst many other large items. Day to day servicing has been carried out by the respected team at Munich Legends and they also replaced the timing belt last year. The suspension has also been recently serviced with components being replaced where required and a new set of tyres fitted. The current vendor has used this car for many long haul trips and he tells us it has performed effortlessly although these cars were initially designed and spec'd more with the 'Boulevard' in mind. There aren't many of the original 200 Neon Blue cars around and this must be a great contender for an entry-level classic car and deserves good consideration. Exterior: 3/5, Interior: 3/5, Engine: 4/5, Transmission: 5/5, Running gear: 5/5, Electrics: 3/5, Vehicle history: 3/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

1975 Volkswagen 1300 Beetle

Lot # 103 (Sale Order: 3 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 1.3L 1975 Volkswagen 1300 Beetle manual that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 101/135. A brightly coloured Beetle showing 8,762 miles. Said to be highly original, we are told the vendor inherited the car at the beginning of this year, and took it straight to a Volkswagen specialist for an MoT and an IVHC check on 28/02/2015. On the MoT paperwork, we can see they replaced the o/s/f and the o/s/r wheel cylinder and brake shoes f.o.c. Supplied with three previous MoT certificates and several SORN certificates together with the paperwork and odometer reading, which the vendor feels indicates that this car has not been driven much.  The first MoT certificate present was issued on October 3rd, 1989 and expired October 2nd, 1990, (mileage 5,876) the second MoT certificate was issued on July 13th, 1993 and expired July 12th, 1994 (5,882), and the third certificate was issued on August 28th, 2002 and expired on August 27th, 2003 (5900) suggesting that the car has spent many years in storage. The steel wheels have a little surface rust but, other than that this cheerful Mustard Beetle appears in good order.  Exterior: 3/5, Interior: 4/5, Engine: 4/5, Transmission: 4/5, Running gear: 4/5, Electrics: 4/5, Vehicle history: 2/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

1967 Fiat 500F

Lot # 104 (Sale Order: 4 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 0.5L 1967 Fiat 500F manual that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 107/135. An original right-hand drive restored 1967 Fiat 500F. Finished in Lime Green, this eye-catching Fiat 500 has an indicated mileage of 67,684. We are told this charming little car was purchased by the previous owners in New Zealand in 2007 and upon returning to U.K.in 2009 they couldn't resist bringing it back with them. Said to have only completed some 400 miles since 2007, and kept garaged and MoT'd during this time, this Fiat 500 is described by the vendor as being in very good condition, as the climate in New Zealand is kind and it was never used on salted roads. With all the classic Italian styling you could ever want, plus the added attraction of being an original right-hand drive car, this cheeky little Cinquecento must surely be of consideration. Don't miss out!   Exterior: 4/5, Interior: 4/5, Engine: 4/5, Transmission: 4/5, Running gear: 4/5, Electrics: 4/5, Vehicle history: 3/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

1960 Austin Seven 850 Saloon

Lot # 105 (Sale Order: 5 of 102)

Offered for sale is a .848L 1960 Austin Seven Saloon manual that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores 50/135. "Barn Find"? Not really, this wonderful little Austin Seven was registered to a lady in Worcestershire in 1960 and used until 1972, when it was passed onto her nephew who was employed at the Mini plant at Longbridge. At that point it was showing 39,000 miles and has never been on the road since! This car is a gem of a find and really only requires minor works to put it back on the road, unless a full restoration is what you had in mind. Structurally, we are led to believe it is very sound as are the 'A' panels and the other traditionally vulnerable body areas. It comes with an original service booklet and many receipts for works completed during its time on the road. There are many newspaper cuttings featuring 562 DFK, but more importantly the Buff Logbook is with the car confirming its ownership history. This charismatic Mini is certainly one for the collector and is a sound investment if the current enthusiasm for early cars continues. Exterior: 2/5, Interior: 3/5, Engine: 2/5, Transmission: 1/5, Running gear: 2/5, Electrics: 2/5, Vehicle history: 3/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

1987 Jaguar XJS V12 HE Coupe

Lot # 107 (Sale Order: 7 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 5.3L 1987 Jaguar XJS 5.3 HE AUTO automatic that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with an extensive history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 108/135. This beautiful 1987 Jaguar XJS 5.3 V12 HE, automatic, 2 door Coupé has been very carefully maintained by its present vendor, a Jaguar enthusiast for the last 13 years, and has recently been serviced and a new MoT certificate issued in September 2015 at a cost of £586. 'D53 XJS' has looked out from the front cover of Jaguar World monthly magazine, with a two-page article featuring the car inside (April 2014), and an article was written about the car in the Jaguar Enthusiast Club magazine (August 2015).  The vendor is a long-term member of the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club and has previously taken this car on 2 or 3 European tours with the JEC and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. This car benefited from a bare metal respray in 1999 and the original bills, receipts and a photographic record are all to hand. The number plate alone cost the vendor in excess of £1,000.  Looking around the car it presents wonderfully, the paintwork gleams, the shut lines are good and it has a very rare factory sunroof fitted.  Amazingly the car is accompanied by a rare 'Barbie' XJS Convertible finished in the same colour with the same registration number. We kid you not! With just 41,400 miles indicated confirmed by the 27 stamps in the Service Book and all previous MoTs plus the Handbooks, Jaguar Heritage Certificate, Magazines and lots of photos, the vendor believes that you would have to look long and hard to find a better example and having seen the car, we feel inclined to agree. Exterior: 4/5, Interior: 4/5, Engine: 4/5, Transmission: 4/5, Running gear: 4/5, Electrics: 4/5, Vehicle history: 4/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

1990 Mercedes-Benz 300SL

Lot # 109 (Sale Order: 9 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 3.0L 1990 Mercedes-Benz 300SL automatic. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores 81/135. This well-kept 300SL has been with its current vendor who has run his own garage business for the last 18 years, and therefore it has been looked after mechanically by his own team to ensure it remained in excellent condition. The vendor advises us that this is a very early example of this model but drives very well for its years. This must be the most affordable way into ownership of these sought after drophead coupés. (Please note the number plate is not staying with the vehicle )     Exterior: 3/5, Interior: 3/5, Engine: 4/5, Transmission: 3/5, Running gear: 3/5, Electrics: 3/5, Vehicle history: 2/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

Lot # 110 (Sale Order: 10 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 2.8L 1981 Delorean DMC12 automatic that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with no history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 105/135. Great Scott, the Delorean....With it being the 30th Anniversary of the famous film, these cars are very topical right now. This particular car was part of a private collection and although owned for just a year has had approximately 18,000 Euros spent on it. The body itself has had minor imperfections blended out and the whole skin re-brushed. The interior has benefitted from new seating, door cards, instrument binnacle and carpets. Mechanically the car is spot on having been totally gone through with the fuel lines and braking systems replaced and new lowered suspension to meet European standards. The troublesome windows have been replaced and the AC is now fully operational. All the work has been undertaken by Ed Uding of Delorean Europe who is well respected within Delorean circles. This car wants for nothing and really is exceptional. Slide yourself back into 1985 and relive those heady times. 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible

Lot # 111 (Sale Order: 11 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 4.7L 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible automatic that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 113/135. Charles Dance's Ford Mustang. CCA are privileged to be able to offer this 1967 Ford Mustang Convertible, belonging to the well-known and much-acclaimed actor Charles Dance. The Mustang has been owned by Charles and his wife since 2002 and was a daily driver right up until 2013, when it was treated to a full restoration by Phil King of Classic American Restoration Services. Prior to this, the vehicle was registered on the 'V' car register due to an incident in 2006. The restoration work was completed just recently and included all new floor pans, new rear wings, a fully rebuilt 289 V8 engine and a complete new braking system to name just a few. There are photos available showing the car in its stripped down state moving through the build process and clearly showing no signs of any damage at that time. The car then received a full bare-metal respray in its Deep Red lustre. This car is described as "out of the box", has not been driven on the road other than to obtain its MoT, and is said to drive just as well as it looks in the pictures. As well as a stunning piece of Americana this Mustang may well appeal to someone interested in Movie Memorabilia. 1971 Range Rover Suffix A Modified

Lot # 112 (Sale Order: 12 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 4.6L 1971 Land Rover Range Rover 2 Door prefix A manual that has been with the current owner for the last 2 years. Coming with an extensive history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 104/135. One of the finest Range Rover "resto-mods" we have seen, presenting superbly following a restoration that cost over £40,000. Offering a myriad of internal and mechanical upgrades, this Suffix A has the luxury and performance that the original lacked. When this icon of 20th century motoring was new in 1971 the owner could only dream of this level of luxury. The leather is the period correct shade of Palomino and the wood cappings hint at the luxury of Rolls Royce, whilst the effortlessly smooth 4.6-litre petrol engine certainly has the pull of a Bentley. Thanks to the attention to detail and the upgrades that Range Rover restoration specialists Twenty Ten Engineering carried out in 2014, this rare Suffix'A' had the distinction of featuring in the December 2014 of Land Rover Owner magazine, who claimed in an extensive article: "The modifications are subtle, even invisible in many cases; and even the more obvious upgrades are in keeping with the feeling of the original vehicle." Unique "resto-mods" can often be seen advertised with specialist classic Range Rover dealers for upwards of £60,000, we have therefore a car that looks the part and performs better than new, at a price that competes with the best very on offer. Exterior: 5/5, Interior: 4/5, Engine: 4/5, Transmission: 4/5, Running gear: 4/5, Electrics: 4/5, Vehicle history: 4/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

2004 TVR Tamora

Lot # 116 (Sale Order: 16 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 3.6L 2004 TVR Tamora manual that has been with the current owner for the last 6 years. Coming with an extensive history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 108/135. A handsome TVR Tamora finished in Crystal Topaz, showing 29,500 miles. Owned by the current vendor for the last 6 years and, impressively enough, during this period the car has only needed a replacement alternator.  It's important to note that this vehicle sustained accident damage in 2009. It was deemed repairable by the insurance company, but they did not want it back after the accident. In response to this the insurance company sold it as "damaged" but giving it repairable Category D. The previous vendor subsequently purchased the car and had it repaired.  This car will arrive at the Auction freshly serviced in October 2015, and a new MoT certificate issued with an expiry of 20th of October 2016. Sensibly guided, this car represents an excellent opportunity to acquire a model that is now gaining momentum in the collectors market.   Exterior: 4/5, Interior: 4/5, Engine: 4/5, Transmission: 4/5, Running gear: 4/5, Electrics: 4/5, Vehicle history: 4/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

Datsun 1600 Sport Sp311 Fairlady

Lot # 117 (Sale Order: 17 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 1.6L 1966 Datsun 1600 Sport Sp311 Fairlady manual that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores 91/135. When did you last see a Datsun SP311? This is a model that just pre-dated the MGB to market and has a lot of similar engine components made under licence. Known as Fairlady in the US, this beautifully presented example was previously part of a private collection in a dry US state hence its amazing condition. It is now UK registered / MoT'd and ready to go. The paintwork, in particular, has an outstanding glass like finish after its bare-metal restoration. It's also worth noting that this is an early " short windscreen " model which has opening quarter lights, features lost on post-'68 models. The previous extensive restoration added a new soft top and various chassis components just to make sure it was on the button. The Fairlady apparently is much nicer to drive than its MG competitor and we understand that this particular car drives as well as it looks with that distinct Japanese quality that we have all become familiar with in recent years. The interior is all original and has a lovely patina. The car comes with a hard top, a new tonneau and that lovely 60's boot mounted luggage rack. We understand that there are only three of these currently on UK roads. Dare to stand out and be different. Exterior: 5/5, Interior: 4/5, Engine: 3/5, Transmission: 3/5, Running gear: 3/5, Electrics: 3/5, Vehicle history: 2/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

*** Regretfully Withdrawn *** 1963 Fiat 500 Transformable ( Full Roof Convertible )

Lot # 118 (Sale Order: 18 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 499L 1963 Fiat 500 D Transformable (Full roof convertible) manual that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with a partial history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 107/135. When it was launched, the new Fiat 500 had a rear-mounted engine, on the pattern of the Volkswagen Beetle, just like its bigger brother the 1955 Fiat 600. Several car makers followed this now uncommon rear engine configuration at the time and were quite successful. Despite its diminutive size, the 500 proved to be an enormously practical and popular vehicle throughout Europe. Replacing the original Nuova in 1960, the 'D' looks very similar to its predecessor, but there were two key differences. One is the engine size (the D features an uprated 499 cc engine producing 17 bhp as standard-this engine was used right through until the end of the L in 1973) and the other is the roof. The standard 'D' roof does not fold back as far as the roof on the Nuova, though it was also available as the "Transformable" with the earlier long soft roof. The 'D' also features "suicide doors".This cheeky little 1963 model has just come over from Italy recently and is waiting for its first UK owner. It comes with all its import papers and will require and MOT. The car has travelled 54,000 miles from new which is believed genuine but not warranted and has been with its last owner for the last 14 years. When was the last time you saw one like this with those ever so quirky suicide doors and that amazing roof? 1978 Volkswagen Campervan

Lot # 119 (Sale Order: 19 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 1.6L 1978 volkswagen campervan manual that has been with the current owner for the last 8 years. Coming with an extensive history file, this lot's condition scores 83/135. Even those VW Campervans that need lots of work appear to be selling at a premium which makes this lovely example, having recently benefitted from six thousand pounds worth of work, a very sensible choice. The work was extensive and included attention to the body, chassis, outriggers, floor pans and a full engine rebuild and upgrade to 1641cc with Webers and an Empi 4 into 1 exhaust.Internally it has the original Berlin LHD spec trim, which in itself is rare, and the accommodation includes a rock and roll bed with cooker, fridge and running water and a good selection of well-finished cupboards. It also benefits from a 12v to 24v voltage converter. There is a full photographic file detailing a lot of the recent improvements and that will accompany the van. A few minor "niggles" are detailed below and are easily sorted and so, in our opinion, this sound, cared for iconic Campervan only really needs a coat of paint to turn it into something special.  Exterior: 4/5, Interior: 3/5, Engine: 5/5, Transmission: 2/5, Running gear: 3/5, Electrics: 3/5, Vehicle history: 4/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

1990 Mercedes-Benz 500SL

Lot # 120 (Sale Order: 20 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 4.9L 1990 Mercedes Benz 500SL automatic that has been with the current owner for the last 8 years. Coming with no history file, this lot's condition scores 71/135. The one to have! This 5.0 litre, V8 500SL has been with its current vendor for a good few years and only used occasionally. He is the owner of a garage and all the maintenance and servicing of this attractive Mercedes has been carried out by his own team. The car is ready to be used as it is or, with a little fettling could be made into a very smart car indeed. We are told that it is very smooth to drive and is quick enough to give its new owner lots to smile about. This could be a very reasonably priced entry-level SL500, and being an early car is becoming quite rare. The new must-have 70's sports car..... This 240Z represents excellent value at this entry level for what has now become a very desirable sports car. These 240Zs are an extremely good investment currently and this particular car has recently come in from the United States and will be sold with a full UK title. These 240Zs handle and drive really well for the era, and this car is no exception so its current vendor informs us.   Exterior: 3/5, Interior: 4/5, Engine: 4/5, Transmission: 4/5, Running gear: 4/5, Electrics: 3/5, Vehicle history: 2/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.

1991 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet

Lot # 125 (Sale Order: 25 of 102)

Offered for sale is a 3.0L 1991 Porsche 944 S2 Cabriolet manual that has been with the current owner for over 10 years. Coming with an extensive history file, this lot's condition scores an impressive 108/135. A beautiful convertible...In 1989 the 944S2 Porsche was introduced, powered by a 211 PS normally aspirated, dual-overhead-cam 16-valve 3.0 L version of the 944S engine. It was the largest production 4-cylinder engine of its time. The 944S2 also received a revised transmission and gearing to better suit the 3.0 L M44/41 powerplant. The 944S2 had the same rounded nose and a rear valance found on the Turbo model. Performance numbers were quoted as 0-60 mph in 6.0 seconds, with a top speed of 240 km/h (150 mph) with the manual transmission. In 1989, Porsche released the 944 S2 Cabriolet, a first for the 944 line that featured the cabriolet body built by ASC-American Sunroof Company at Weinsberg in Germany. The first year of production included sixteen 944 S2 Cabriolets for the U.S. market. For the 1990 model year, Porsche produced 3,938 944 S2 Cabriolets for all markets including right-hand drive units for the United Kingdom, Australia and South Africa. This particular 944 has been with its current owner for 18 years and he has decided now is the time to move it on as it's hardly used. It has covered 3,000 miles in the last 10 years and has a fully stamped history book and all the relevant Porsche manuals. The interior shows that it has covered few miles due to the lack of wear on the seats and is also indicative of the care it has received. This is a very pretty car that oozes style and panache and will give many more years of pleasure to its new vendor. Exterior: 4/5, Interior: 4/5, Engine: 4/5, Transmission: 4/5, Running gear: 4/5, Electrics: 4/5, Vehicle history: 4/5 For a full condition report, view this car on www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/.
