If you have questions about shipping, pick-ups, specific lots or anything else, please contact us BEFORE bidding. If you wish to pay with a card other that the card on file with Proxibid, you should let us know before the end of the auction to avoid a delay. There will be a $25 convenience fee for charging through any means other than Proxibid.

All items will be shipped within 48 hours of payment, often 24 or less. We are usually working on invoicing as we package winning bids so that we can have your bids shipped to you quickly with an accurate shipping cost.

Paid total includes the amount paid for each lot, buyer's premium, applicable tax, handling/box fee and applicable shipping fee and insurance.

If you choose to pick up your winning bids instead of having them mailed, please contact us through email or phone BEFORE the end of the auction to avoid any accidental charges. Pickup in Lewisburg, PA during store hours is free. Pick-up in Lock Haven during store hours is free. Pickup in Hewitt, NJ is also free. If you are in between or nearby, feel free to contact us for other options. We can deliver for an agreed upon fee.

PA residents will be charged a 6% sales tax unless you send Merchant's Wares a REV-1220 Pennsylvania Exemption Certificate, which we will keep on file for future auctions. OR you can register your Sales Tax ID with Proxibid, and PA residents with a number on file with Proxibid will not be charged sales tax. If Merchant's Wares is shipping to a state other than PA, you will not be charged sales tax.

If you prefer to use your own shipper, you may choose to pick up your items in Lewisburg, PA at Silver Moon Antiques and Consignment Barn, or in Hewitt, NJ or in Lock Haven, PA. Merchant's Wares has several locations and the auctioneer travels regularly between them. Items are shipped from 17837, Lewisburg, PA or nearby. We are often on the road, so response times may vary depending on contact method - If you want an option other than USPS Priority Mail for shipping, we appreciate it if you would contact Merchant's Wares before the auction, even if you are unsure if you will win an item.

All property is sold AS IS and All SALES ARE FINAL. It is the bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value and any other properties of the items you chose to bid on. A selection of lots are available for preview in Lewisburg, PA. Online bidders who do not inspect the items must understand and acknowledge that they may not be able to inspect an item online as well as they might inspect an item in person. It is the Bidders responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value or any other determinative factor. Merchant's Wares will endeavor to describe in-detail each item and any pertinent information about it. Merchant's Wares will not be responsible for any errors or omissions in the description of the merchandise unless it is a material and intentional misrepresentation of the item itself. Bidder agrees that everything is sold as-is and that they may not return any item they purchase.

Merchant's Wares endeavors to provide detailed pictures, adequate and accurate descriptions. You may contact us if you have questions about specific items, and many of our online auction items will be on display at Silvermoon Consignment and Antique Barn in Lewisburg, PA. There is NO live portion of this auction, but we do offer a gallery space for inspection when possible. You may also choose to pick up your winning bids in Lewisburg during store hours, in Lock Haven, PA during store hours, or in Hewitt, NJ by appointment.

ALL Pick-ups must be made within one week of full payment, or holding/storage charges will be incurred. If items are not picked up within 2 weeks, they may be resold, with no refund to the original bidder. Special arrangements for large orders or certain circumstances may be made with the auctioneer directly, BEFORE the end of the auction.
