Navajo Turquoise Silver Shadow Box Tepee Cuff 1930

This is an excellent early Navajo Native American Indian bracelet or cuff showing a shadow design with three excellent gem quality Turquoise stones. The piece is from circa 1930's and shows a heavy sterling silver construction and etched Indian Tepee design on both sides of the bracelet. This appears to be in good condition (Approx. 77 grams sterling). Measures 1 7/8"H x 2.75"L x 1.25"W and has a 6" inside circumference wrist size.

Navajo Old Pawn Sand Cast Silver Concho Belt

This is an early Old Pawn Sand Cast silver concho belt hand crafted from a Navajo Native American Indian silversmith. The piece is believed to be from the early 1900's and shows the buckle with eleven conchos all on a leather belt. The piece is hand etch signed on the buckler, "XV". The piece shows overall good condition and is a very desirable concho belt. Measures overall 37"L with a 2.25"x1 5/8" buckle and each concho is 1.5"x1 7/8"

Rodman Wanamaker Indian Illustrations c. 1913

Lot # 3 (Sale Order: 3 of 519)      

The lot features twelve illustrations by Rodman Wanamaker circa 1913 showing Native American Indians and their culture. The pieces have a pressed in area surrounding the image indicative of being an etching or quality photogravure. Rodman Wanamaker (February 13, 1863 – March 9, 1928) began an expedition to capture the life of the "Vanishing Race" which resulted in the publishing of his "Expedition of Citizenship." This book is a very rare piece and took place in 1913 including several of these illustrations. These illustrations include some rare titles such as: Chief Running Fisher, Chief, Bear Ghost, Mountain Chief, and more. Each illustration is 6.75”x9.75” and is encased in plastic on board that is 8.5”x10.25”.

Zuni Turquoise & Coral Silver Snake Ring by Effie

The lot features an excellent hand crafted heavy sterling silver ring by master Zuni Native American Indian silversmith Effie Calavaza. Effie C. is on of the most widely recognized and highly desired Zuni silversmiths and this is one of her finest examples. The ring shows a sterling silver heavy construction with a coral and turquoise nugget set stones and two snakes wrapped around them. The snakes have inlaid turquoise eyes. The ring is from circa 1940-1950’s and shows good condition. Hallmarked, "Effie C. Zuni". This is a size 10.5-11.

This is a Northern Plains Native American Indian beaded pipe bag from the mid to early 1900's. The piece shwos 19th century glass trade seed beadwork double sided and around the top rim of the bag in chalk white, greasy yellow, green, dark blue, and sky blue. The bag shows early 19th century red trade clothe and Indian tanned and ocher dyed hide with long fringe along the bottom. This appears to be in good condition and a finely made piece. Measures overall 27.5"L x 5 3/8"W.

Provenance: from a private collection in Iowa and was recovered in Yankton, South Dakota. The piece is in very good well preserved museum quality condition with only a slight chip on the end as shown. Measures overall 5.75"L x 3 1/8"H x 1 1/8"W. COA included.

This is an original Chippewa floral beaded Bandolier (Bandoleer) bag from circa 1880-1920. The bag shows glass trade seed beadwork (19th century beads) on trade clother and velvet with yarn fringe. The front of the bag shows an excellent large floral design with a floral design accenting the entire strap. The piece shows very well preserved museum quality condition with slight moth holes on back of strap as shown. Rare and very well made piece. The bag measures 18.25"x18" x 39"L overall , strap is 4.25"W.

Hamilton Art Deco Railroad Pocket Watch 10k Gold F

This is a Hamilton Watch Co. Lancaster, PA Model 1 10k Gold Filled 21 jewel Railroad pocket watch. The watch has an excellent 10k yellow gold filled Wadsworth Art Deco case. The face shows the large numbers with the seconds dial and rare outside minutes dial. The piece has a serial number of 2503287 and was manufactured in 1928. The jewels in this watch are Rubies and is a grade 992. This watch works flawlessly and shows very good condition.

Black Forest Carved German Hunting Game Plaque

This is an exceedingly rare original beautifully hand carved Black Forest hunting or game plaque. The piece is German carved and is from the 18th to 19th century. The piece shows excellent detailed carving with a rich original dark coloring. The plaque shows a small game bird, fish, and eel with a continuing rope and top unmarked tag. The piece very good condition with no apparent breaks or cracks. Measures 13.5"H x 8.75"W and 2 5/8" thick or deep.

Badger Montana Trophy Fur Rug

This is a Montana taken Badger showing a large size and excellent long claws. The trophy piece is a full mount rug with all the claws present and full head with mouth open. The hide fur appears to have excellent coloring and is in good condition (scuff on end of nose as shown). The rug is double felted on red and black. Measures overall 35"L x 30.5"W.
