Serial # 206565, A30516 All three hand guns are in excellent to near mint condition showing little to no use. All three are reproductions. The first gun was made in Japan by Miroku. It is a single shot Kentucky pistol with octagon barrel. The second is a Uberti Model 1862 Colt police. The last handgun is a Navy Arms 1851 Navy with holster.

(A) Screw Barrel Flintlock Pistol by Richards.

Lot # 2 (Sale Order: 2 of 720)      

Serial # 1117 Round 1-1/2” screw barrel in .43 caliber, marked near breech on bottom with London proof marks. Box lock action engraved with double-line borders on both sides. Single line border on reinforced cock and frizzen face. Thumb safety with pin to lock the frizzen down. Action engraved with “LONDON” on the right side and “JSW RICHARDS” on the other. Trigger guard bow engraved with detailed daisy. Cane-shaped figured walnut grip with flat sides and beveled edges. Excellent overall with light grey and even patina and clear markings. Grip is excellent with light marks from use. Functions properly but barrel cannot be removed.

(A) Argentinian Flobert Type 1 Target Pistol.

Lot # 3 (Sale Order: 3 of 720)      

Serial # NSN .32 caliber, 11” blued octagonal barrel with standard sights, marked with Argentinian proofs on left side. Rim fire action has casehardened hammer, blue loading gate and engraved blued tang. Walnut stock with checkered panels on each side of pistol grip and relief carved panels on each side of action, engraved blued steel furniture. Excellent condition, as refinished. Barrel and action retain about 95% of re-blued finish, light muzzle and edge wear. Bore dirty with some light spotting. Stock is very good with scattered marks from use and a dime-sized area of marred checkering on left side of grip. Furniture excellent, as re-blued, with some wear to engraving.

Serial # NSN .22 caliber, 8-3/8” octagonal barrel, marked THORNTON & SONS. LONDON” on top flat, near breech, stiff leaf engraving around muzzle. Small front brass post sight, small notched rear sight. Flobert type rim fire action, engraved tang and back of hammer. Varnished walnut half stock with checkered grip and horn nose cap, engraved steel furniture. Good condition, barrel and action with light grey patina and some scattered dark areas and spotting, steel furniture with light grey patina. Bore now has no rifling and some pitting. Stock very good, as refinished, with scattered marks from use.

Lot # 5 (Sale Order: 5 of 720)      

Serial # 753 .22 caliber, 9-1/2” octagonal barrel with dovetailed sights. Marked with three German proofs on bottom flat and in front of forend, top flat engraved with repeating intertwined patterns. Engraved percussion action polished bright. Engraved steel trigger guard with uniquely-shaped bow, molded steel butt cap is engraved and terminates in a turned finial. Walnut stock with fluted pistol grip and relief carved panel of foliage on forend. Good condition, re-browned barrel shows wear to engraving, edge wear and has scattered areas of light pitting. Action has been heavily cleaned and is now polished in the white. Steel furniture with dark grey patina and scattered pitting. Stock good, showing some edge wear, a small crack to tip of forend, some losses of finish, and scattered marks from use.

Serial # NSN 7-7/8" barrel in .177 caliber. Blued octagonal barrel with oversized front and rear dovetailed sights; stamped "6" on bottom flat near forend; two scalloped silver bands around breech. Polished steel percussion hammer. Varnished walnut stock with Schnabel forend and fluted grip; relief lock-shaped panels carved on both sides. Casehardened steel trigger guard with rear finger spur and buttcap with scalloped edges. Very good condition, barrel retains about 90% bluing with scattered spots of surface rust. Steel furniture with faded case colors; stock refinished, shows losses of finish to edges and scattered marks from use.

Serial # 159 & 265 The first pistol is stamped on top of barrel "Allen & Wheelock". Serial No. 265. Has a 8" part octagon barrel in .32 bore, single shot, percussion, with two piece bag walnut grips. Sharp legends. Metal is a dark grey patina. Missing front sight bead. Original grips are very good with staining. Hammer does not stay back. Strong bore. The second small boot pistol has a manufacturer's stamp "HOR..?" and a 4" round barrel .32 percussion caliber. Features two piece walnut small bag handle. Metal cleaned to gun metal grey. Fine working order with a poor bore. Interesting pair of mid-1900 pistols in contrasting sizes.

(A) S&W New Model No. 3 Navy Revolver.

Lot # 8 (Sale Order: 8 of 720)      

Serial # 45975 6-1/2" barrel in .44 S&W Russian caliber. These popular top break double action revolvers were manufactured from 1881 to 1898. Standard features include full ribbed barrel, six shot, double action, nickel finish, with black composite grips. This revolver has traces of original nickel but is basically dark brown patina with areas of pitting on barrel. Original grips are very good but worn with a chip on the right side. Indexes perfectly. Strong bore with light black powder abrasion. Should be a good shooter and has a great Western look.

(A) Engraved LeFaucheux Type Pinfire Revolver.

Lot # 9 (Sale Order: 9 of 720)      

Serial # 97 6" barrel in .46 bore. Offered is a large double action holster revolver. Manufactured in Belgium using the Lefaucheux pinfire system. Features a full octagon barrel. The top of the barrel and breech as well as cylinder, frame, trigger guard, and back strap, are all engraved. The frame and cylinder are hand chiseled in deep relief. Two piece carved composite black stocks with pommel and lanyard. There is some light pitting on front grip strap as well as some pitting on the back of the recoil shield. Also some pitting on barrel. Revolver retains generous amounts of nickel platting. Pistol needs some mechanical attention, cylinder does not index, strong rifle bore.

(A) Cased Unmarked Engraved Pocket Revolver.

Lot # 10 (Sale Order: 10 of 720)      

Serial # NSN .31 caliber percussion with a 4-1/2" barrel. This revolver appears to be a Remington new model pocket revolver and may very well be with the markings removed at time of engraving. The barrel has border engraving while the frame and cylinder have scroll engraving with border engraving on back strap. It has old bone grips and metal that is basically in the white. Features five shot single action, spur trigger. It is housed in a crude home made case with a reproduction flask, some caps and an old fixed blade knife.

The first gun is a boxed Iver Johnson .32 caliber safety hammerless double action revolver with a 3" barrel, nickel finish, top break, and black composite logo grips. Serial No. 99698. Retains 70% original nickel. Indexes perfectly. Strong bore. Grips are near mint. The second gun is a Forehand Arms top break .38 caliber with 3-1/4" barrel, nickel plating, double action, and black composite logo grips. Serial No. 385149. Retains 50% original nickel with age spotting and wear. Indexes fine. Strong bore. The third gun is an antique European double hammer double folding trigger side by side .41 caliber pinfire with 3-1/2" barrels. Perfect working order. Solid one piece fluted varnished walnut grips and engraved frame. Restored to near new condition, still retaining 90% reapplied finish. Near mint bores. And the last gun in this lot is a Smith & Wesson seven shot tip-up .22 with 3-1/4" barrel, fine legends, and strong hinge. Chip on both left and right grips. Serial No. 54660. Traces of original plating on frame. Fine working order. Strong bore.

(A) Lot Of 2: 1878 Colt Double Action Revolvers.

Serial # 27586 & NSN Both revolvers feature 5-1/2" barrel, six shot, double action, with Colt black composition grips. One is chambered for the .45 Colt the other is chambered for the .44-40. Serial number 2751. Manufactured in 1891, has scarce two line barrel address. Replaced ejector rod head, cleaned to gun metal grey, indexes fine, bore very good with black powder abrasion. Gun (B) chambered for the .44/.40 single line barrel address, completely clean and devoid of markings, .44 Caliber stamped on trigger bow. Pair of revolvers.

Lot # 13 (Sale Order: 13 of 720)      

Serial # G41681 & NSN This revolver features the swing-out cylinder. These revolvers were extremely popular during the first World War. Both revolvers have 6" barrels, are chambered for the 8mm cartridge, six shot, double action, and features blued finish with checkered walnut grips, and lanyard ring. Serial No. G41681 has a barrel dated of 1899 and has "St. Etienne" stamped on right side of frame. This revolver retains approximately 75% original factory blue but has age freckling and some light salt and pepper on the cylinder, with some spotting on left side. Very good grips. Perfect action. Strong bore. The second revolver is dated 1908 with no visible serial number on frame. Retains approximately 75% original factory blue finish. Very good grips. Fine action. Strong bore.

Serial # 615 Caliber .455, Barrel Length 6". The MK VI revolver was introduced in 1915. This particular revolver was manufactured in 1926 and is dated on right side of frame. Matching serial number on cylinder and features: full octagon barrel, six shot, double action, top break, blue finish with black composite grips and lanyard ring. This revolver has all proper British proofs, retains approximately 85% of WWII era Military matte finish. Grips are excellent, barrel release spring replaced. Strong clean bore, perfect action.

Serial # NSN Gun A) A percussion double barrel Belgian boxlock pistol. Round 3-3/8” screw barrels in .41 caliber smoothbores, muzzles fitted for barrel removal wrench. Plates on each side of percussion boxlock action engraved with scrolls, left side bears Liege proof mark, two triggers with steel trigger guard. Walnut grip with burl butt cap. Very good condition with even grey patina overall with cleaned area at breech of each barrel, grip excellent. Gun B) A break-action pinfire pistol. Round 4-1/8” barrels with flat matte rib in center and slotted for pins at breech in .38 caliber rifled bores. Lever-release for break action. Boxlock side plates, forend, and lever all engraved on each side with scroll engraving. Hammers engraved with fish heads, double triggers and steel trigger guard. Varnished walnut grip carved with fluted fans behind action on each side and grip fluted. Even light grey patina overall with some light pitting, mechanism crisp, grip excellent.

Cylinder indexes perfectly double and single action. Strong clean bore. Very good example of popular late 20th century pocket revolver.

Serial # 2856 4.96" barrel in 10.55mm caliber. Offered is the Model 1883 six shot single action revolver. Manufactured in Erfurt 1893. Has all visible matching numbers including screws. Chambers are numbered one through six. Has all proper Imperial proof marks. Blue finish with two piece walnut bag handle with lanyard but no ring. Perfect working condition. Strong clean bore. Frame has flashes of original blue, but gun is basically brown patina with overall spotting. Grips are excellent. Comes in a rare holster that is maker stamped "Berlin".

Serial # 24472, 116520 The first gun is a Model No. 1 1/2 Second Issue in .32 rimfire long caliber . Features five shot, fluted cylinder, round barrel, spur trigger, and birds head grips. Cylinder retains approximately 85% original nickel finish. Balance of revolver is basically gun metal grey. Grips are excellent. Indexes perfectly. Strong bore. Strong factory legend. The second revolver is a Smith & Wesson single action First Model revolver, AKA the Baby Russian. Serial No. 24472. 3-1/4" barrel in .38 S&W caliber. These revolvers were only manufactured in 1876 and 1877. It is a five shot, single action, spur trigger, top break, with S&W black composite grips. Gun has been cleaned to shiny gun metal grey with areas of light salt and pepper finish. Barrel legends are sharp. Original grips are excellent. Indexes perfectly and has a strong bore.

(A) Lot of 3: Antique Brass Frame Tipup Revolvers

Lot # 21 (Sale Order: 21 of 720)      

Serial # NSN, NSN, 13941 The first revolver was manufactured by American Standard Tool in Newark, New Jersey and has a 3-1/8" barrel in .22 rimfire caliber. Serial No. 13941. Features seven shot, single action, spur trigger, and two piece walnut square grips. Cylinder and barrel are grey patina with age spotting. Brass frame shows no signs of plating. Indexes perfectly and has strong rifling. The second and third revolvers are a pair of Marlin .32 caliber, five shot, spur trigger revolvers with black composite grips. Cylinder and barrel are brown patina on both. One frame has been polished while the other has traces of original platting with 30% on right side. Both index perfectly and have good bores, these are often referred to as the 1872 in .30 caliber rimfire. Both grips have chips on the bottom left panel.

Serial # 82819, 505 The first revolver is a Smith & Wesson hammerless safety Model in 32 caliber with a 3" barrel. Serial No. 92819. Revolver was produced in 1888 - 1892. It is a First Model, top break, nickel finish, five shot, double action with grip safety, black composite grips, blued trigger guard, barrel release, and case colored trigger. Cylinder shows no sign of burn, having never been fired. Cylinder retains approximately 60% original factory nickel. Revolver has a couple minor storage marks and age spots. Brilliant case colors on sides of trigger. Grips are mint. Indexes perfectly and has a near mint bore. The second revolver is a European folding trigger. Serial No. 505. Bore diameter 5.5. Features six shot and double action. Nearly complete factory engraved. Sports a pair of beautiful pearl grips. Frame stamped "M.L" with crown. 20% nickel on barrel. Balance of gun retain majority of nickel mixed with metal grey. Mint grips. Strong bore. Action works perfectly.
