A wonderful Family of Four German all-bisque Bye-lo Babies in wooden playpen. $600/1100

Lot # 3 (Sale Order: 3 of 60)      

4" (10 cm.) -6". Each is all bisque with classic facial model of the famed infant baby and having tinted baby hair, closed mouth, and loop-jointed bisque baby-shaped arms and legs. Two have tiny glass sleep eyes and rare swivel head, painted socks and shoes (one pair pink, one blue). The other two have one-piece head and torso and painted eyes, one with bare feet, one with painted blue shoes. Each are marked "Copyr. by Grace S. Putnam" and size number, and two have original blue paper labels. The quartet are playing in a wooden playpen. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1925....more
