Penobscot Native American Root Club / War Club, Maine

Lot # 7 (Sale Order: 7 of 353)

Made from the root ball and trunk of a small birch tree. This was traditionally used as a weapon, this one is from the 1900's. This version would have been sold as a tourist item or souvenir.
