Please note that all garments are antique or vintage and due to normal aging have some level of wear noted. We've attempted to show most tears, wear, or restoration through the numerous photos of the items. Preview is available by appointment between January 14th and January 20th. We are also willing to use phone (Facetime / Skype) technology for specific items to address any long distance questions requiring visual assistance.

• Inextricable finery, indeed.  This dress is overflowing with quality details!  Angles, textures, features all make this Victorian frock uniquely special!
• Labeled:  Field Leiter & Co./Chicago, with their coat of arms on tailors tape.
• The inside seams are bound, so they don't ravel.
• The top features a mandarin collar and 15 fabric buttons for closure.  Stitching and detailing accent the enclosed decolletage area.
• Attractive, dainty ruffles encircle the bottom of the long sleeves, with extra detailing above the ruffle.  Straight set-in sleeves draw your eye to the beautiful upper top and neck area.
• There are pleats and small panels on the back of the top, adding the ability for fullness--although there is loosely fitted styling in the front.  It might be loosely called a "wrapper".
• Condition:  There is some damage to this top, most noticeably on the top of the left shoulder seam.  In good vintage condition.

• Skirt:  Beautiful and sophisticated ruching, layers, ruffles and bows grace the beautiful lines of this skirt.  A train finishes off the entire look.

• Unique Victorian top with 4 panels.  Panels run from natural waist to near ankles.  There are two panels in the front and two in the back.  The back panels have pleated detailing.
• Set in sleeves with slight puff.

• Metal hoops covered with a material similar to shoelaces.  Hoops held together by vertical tape.
• Clearly meant to go over a corset, as it is shown on our model in an unhooked, open fashion.

• Tail coat:  Labeled:  Schaub Bros./St. Paul.  Nicely tailored tail coat with pointed collars.  The cut of this tail coat would be very fitted to the body, emphasizing a waistline at the jacket's edge.  The jacket's bottom edge points slightly downward, rather than straight across.  Traditional double breasting.  Satin covered buttons--4 on the front, one at the top of each tail.  Fully lined.  Tapered cuffs at the bottom of the sleeves, with two satin covered buttons on each sleeve.
• Condition:  The portion from the notch down has been replaced on each lapel and stitched by hand.  There is age wear on this tail coat.  In fair vintage condition.
