All-carved wooden doll with socket head, jointing at shoulders and hips, natural complexion of grained wood, carved definition of intaglio blue eyes, white eye dots, closed mouth, brunette mohair wig, wearing original costume. Along with darker complexioned baby with carved wooden head and painted hair, weighted cloth body. Each doll is wearing its original costume. Excellent condition. Both by Elisabeth Pongratz, late 1900s.

Bisque socket head, blue glass side-glancing eyes, painted facial features, short dash brows, tiny closed mouth with pursed downcast lips, brunette mohair bobbed wig, composition five-piece body with bent elbow, antique costume. Marks: Just Me Registered German A 310 M. Generally excellent. Marseille, circa 1928.

Bisque socket head, blue glass sleep and side-glancing googly eyes, painted features, closed mouth with impish smile, brunette human hair, paper mache five piece toddler body with painted shoes and socks. Marks: Heubach (square mark) Germany. Excellent condition. Gebruder Heubach, circa 1915.

Pink-tinted bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted facial features, closed mouth with downcast pouting expression, blonde human hair, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nicely costumed. Marks: 7246 5 Germany Heubach (sunburst mark). Generally excellent, some body retouch. Gebruder Heubach, circa 1912.
Lot # 5 (Sale Order: 5 of 60)
19" (48 cm.) Felt swivel head with blue glass flirty googly eyes, painted brown curly upper lashes, arched short brows, accented nostrils, closed mouth in wide O-shaped expression, blonde mohair wig captured in snood at the nape, jointing at shoulders and hip. Excellent condition. Lenci, the glass-eyed version of the googly model was introduced by the firm in 1936, the rare-to-find model is beautifully-preserved, wearing her original very fresh Scottish-themed costume comprising fitted brown long jacket, sienna felt skirt with criss-cross felt applique to create an impression of "plaid", matching reticule, black feathered tam, and ruffled pantalets.

Each has muslin head with pressed and painted facial features, painted brown bobbed hair and bangs, painted facial features and complexion, (one with original stitched-on black beret); each with original oil-cloth body with stitched on hands and legs, embroidered shoes and laces. Circa 1900. Generally excellent, some shelf dustiness.

Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder plate, blue glass inset eyes, richly-painted lashes and brows, accented nostrils, eye corners, closed mouth with accented lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig over cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing. Marks: 5 (head and shoulders) F.G. (shoulders). Generally excellent. Gaultier, circa 1875, the wide-eyed doll wears beautiful antique white pique gown with broderie anglaise trim, pockets, undergarments, cream kidskin boots.

Solid domed bisque socket head, brown glass inset eyes, painted facial features, closed mouth with accent line between the lips, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, Sonneberg composition and wooden body. Marks: 137 4. Generally excellent, few minor wig pulls, some body retouch. Mystery maker, circa 1888.

Lot # 10 (Sale Order: 10 of 60)
12" (30 cm.) Porcelain half doll of adult woman with sculpted grey hair decorated with Dresden flower, her arms held in front of her body, with rose in her right hand, muslin lower torso, porcelain lower limbs, painted pink heeled shoes. The lady is posed upon a cushioned silk and lace base, wearing an elaborate rose taffeta gown with lace and floral trim. Generally excellent. Germany, circa 1910.

Atop a wooden shaft with red wooden wheels is a brown wool felt horse head with black bead eyes, white flannel muzzle, attached ears, black mohair mane, red and green medallion decorations, and red leather harness. The hobby horse has original silver button in ear, and original Steiff paper label. Generally excellent. Germany, Steiff, circa 1950.

Each has bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, painted features, open mouth, four porcelain teeth, brunette mohair bobbed wig, five-piece flapper body with painted shoes and socks. Marks:1078 Simon & Halbig S&H Germany. Generally excellent. Simon and Halbig, all original dolls with flapper bodies, original wigs, wearing original factory costumes including undergarments, cotton dresses, blue or red flannel coat with fur trim, and matching cloche.

All-bisque figure of shapely ballerina, posed "en pointe", with one piece head, torso and legs, painted facial features, mohair wig, peg-jointed arms. Generally excellent, restoration to left hand. Germany, circa 1910.
Lot # 15 (Sale Order: 15 of 60)
Each is all-bisque figure of Kewpie with classic features of blue wings, top knot and side glancing eyes, including 2 1/2" Kewpie bisque shoulder head, 4" Civil War standing Kewpie with rifle and sword (repair to tip of rifle), 3 1/4" seated Kewpie; and 3 1/4" seated Kewpie with black cat (repair to tip of tail). Excellent condition but as noted. Germany, from original designs of Rose O'Neill, circa 1915.
Lot # 16 (Sale Order: 16 of 60)
Each is of lithographed tin, depicting the popular cartoon character of Popeye with stylized features such as pipe, muscles, sailor costume. One labeled J. Chein. When wound, each figure should walk forward. Structurally and finish excellent, mechanism overwound. American, circa 1920.

The one piece figure of adult nude lady, posed standing en pointe, her left leg and right arm extended, having sculpted long grey hair modeled away from body, painted facial features, sculpted gold bead necklace and bracelets, purple painted slippers. Generally excellent. Germany, attributed to Dressel & Kister, circa 1910.

The original blue box with colorful illustration, and label "Hornby Train M1 Goods Set". Contains an unplayed with complete set including 6" engine, two cargo cars labeled 12530, and caboose labeled 3435, along with tracks, connectors, instruction sheet. Near mint condition. English.

Each is all porcelain with sculpted and painted hair in exotic flapper manner, painted facial features; including 6"l. flapper lady with yellow tunic top and ink skirt base, with lid of tiered ruffles and "kicking" legs with blue heels; and 8" flapper lady with brown "skullcap" coiffure, exaggerated painting of eyes, nude, with powder puff and silk base, and resting upon original porcelain base with shapely legs. Generally excellent. Germany, circa 1915.

Bisque shoulder head with very plump chin, brown glass inset eyes, painted facial features, closed mouth, blonde mohair wig, kid body with gusset-jointing, bisque forearms. Generally excellent. The doll wears lovely polished cotton fashion gown that was uniquely fitted to her. Kestner, circa 1890.

One-piece bisque head and torso of young girl with head tilted upward and gazing to the side, sculpted brown curly hair, waved away from her face and captured by glazed pin bows, painted upper-glancing brown eyes, closed mouth with two beaded upper teeth, loop-jointed bisque arms and legs, painted brown one-strap shoes and white bobbed socks, antique costume. Including three 2 1/4" carved wooden bristle dancing dolls with loosely hinged legs, original painted costumes and facial features, with original balancing pins, circa 1880. Along with carved wooden corkscrew doll (hat chipped), carved wooden darning doll with jointed arms, and carved wooden doll as spinning top with painted costume. Generally excellent.

15" (38 cm.) Solid domed bisque socket head with rich brown complexion, black painted hair and brows, tiny brown glass sleep eyes, open mouth, two porcelain lower teeth, brown composition baby body. Marks: AM Germany 351 14.K. Generally excellent. Marseille, circa 1920, beautiful complexion, original body finish.
