Standard fro...morent and rear dovetail sights. The action is also an overall brown patina with no pitting, but one faint nick on left side. All screws are unmolested. The forearm and buttstock are original with dings commensurate to age of gun. Left side of buttstock at receiver has ½” chip of stock missing. Approximately 40% original finish remains. Steel butt plate fully intact with moderate pitting throughout from storage. Excellent bore. Estimate $650-1,150

Barrels retain approximately 30% original blue with remaining areas ...moreturning a blue-brown patina; barrels ring true both right and left. Right barrel is excellent; left barrel has faint pitting toward the chamber. Receiver has standard A-Grade engraving with approximately 20% case coloring predominantly in protected areas with remainder a soft gray patina from use. Trigger guard retains approximately 30% original blue with the rest having a pleasing patina. Standard double trigger. Buttstock LOP 13” to wood and 14” to rear of Hawkins butt-pad. Buttstock in excellent condition with clean checkering. Black plastic pistol grip cap with replacement screw. Very slight ¼” chip left hand side of receiver at trigger guard. Forearm excellent condition; most likely cleaned at some point in the past. Overall, an excellent A-grade 20-gauge Fox suitable for collection or field. Estimate $4,000-6,000

Manufactured 1893. Standard 20” carbine barrel with correct rear and front carbine sights. Overall solid brown patina to barrel and magazine tube with excellent lettering...more to the Winchester barrel stamps. Barrel has rifling present with moderate pitting. Receiver has same excellent brown patina throughout with original blue in some protected areas. Correct and original saddle ring. Hammer has faint original case colors. Bottom brass has correct 38 cal marking. Buttstock and forearm are original walnut stock that fit flush to the receiver and tang. Only small dents or dings; wood has not darkened from oil. Original butt plate in very good condition with dark gray patina. Screws throughout have been turned but not seriously damaged. Lever lock correct and unaltered. Overall, a very above-average ’73 SRC. A good addition to any collection. Estimate $2,000-4,000

Rib has H...moreunter Arms, Fulton, NY address. Twin brass bead sights. Both bores are very good with faint pitting towards the ends. Receiver has approximately 50% case coloring. Trigger guard with 80% original blue. Double triggers. Top tag has been fitted with “live bird” safety. LOP 12-1/2” to wood and 14-1/8” to Hawkins rubber butt pad with black spacer between pad and wood. Excellent grade 2 wood most likely refinished and checkering cleaned. Pistol grip cap and fore-end ebony tip have replacement screws. Most screws show signs of disassembly without major damage. An excellent representative Hunter Arms grade 2 ejector gun. Estimate $850-1,600

Butt stock has faint crack at left hand side of tang. A superb first model ’76 that is accompanied with a Winchester factory letter that verifies the gun to be 100% authentic. A hard-to-find Winchester in this condition with factory letter. Estimate $8,000-12,000

Receiver, barrel, magazine tube, and butt plate have zero pitting with just an overall soft brown patina. Walnut forearm and butt stock have above average figure in the wood. Possibly cleaned In the distant past but wood remains proud and a correct Winchester color. 1873s in this condition with special order barrel and sight configuration are rare and very desirable. Grips are 100% intact with minor dings. All numbers match throughout the gun. An above-average Colt that most likely saw use in the Civil War. Moderate pitting on right side of receiver. Overall receiver is a nice brown patina with original saddle ring. Original walnut forearm and buttstock with moderate dings and scratches. Overall wood is 100% intact and above-average condition for this type of rifle. Butt plate is in very good condition with CS stamped on top. This rifle was one of 350 carbines ordered and purchased by the state of South Carolina in 1877. Peabodys in this condition are extremely rare and hard-to-find. Estimate $1,500-2,000

Forearm and buttstock overall 90% original finish with some handling marks from use through the years. An excellent pre-war Model 21 which would be the highlight of any collection, but also suitable for use. Estimate $4,000-6,000

Virtually every metal piece on this gun is marked with an “S” inspector mark. Walnut forearm and buttstock are in very good condition. Wood remains proud. Left side of buttstock has visible cartouche “GSP.” Overall, an excellent example of Balls Repeating Carbine. Estimate $2,000-3,000
