Payment Instructions: All payments are due in US funds by cash, Check, or Bank Wire Transfer at conclusion of auction. We need to have payment in our possession within 48 hours (two business days) and before any item leaves the auction site. We accept Debit and Credit Cards and we will charge a 3% fee for processing this method of payment. We prefer credit cards be used only for invoice purchases less than $3000. We appreciate wire transfers but will accept checks with a bank letter and from customers that we have on our approved list. Please use overnight letters to our office address. All monies including the buyers premium for this auction will be paid directly to Leaman Auctions Ltd. We reserve the right to hold any purchases till payments clear. If we don't know you and you want to load the next day you need to use a wire transfer. We will charge a 3% fee for processing credit card payments and prefer credit cards be used for invoice purchases less than $3000.

Shipping Instructions: For items less than 150 lbs that meet their dimensional requirements we will be shipping by UPS or USPS at cost plus a fee for packaging. For items that are truck freight and needing palatalized there will be a minimum fee of $50. FOR LARGE ITEMS AND EQUIPMENT; Seller and Auction company will assist in loading out of equipment. There is no charge for help on a "normal" load out. Buyer agrees to indemnify and will hold harmless Leaman Auctions Ltd. and the seller against all liability, loss, cost, damages and other expenses arising from loading out on the buyers behalf. Tear down time and any extra costs accumulated will be charged to the buyer and collected when the truck is loaded. HOWEVER, Longer term storage is available w/ arrangements. Do not hold back on your interest in an item over fear of shipping time requirements.

3 sets of cast iron fluted columns with arched top, Historical structural artifacts

3 sets or pairs of cast iron fluted columns with arched top, rumored to be from the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co building prior to the great fire of 1904. estimated to be cast prior to the 1850's, approx 14' 6" tall and 7' X 36" wide at the top of the arch, columns are approx 14" at smallest dia and closer to 24" diameter near base, Very unique; very heavy with estimated weight of 5000 lbs each, two of the three pair are very good, the other has a freeze crack in both columns that could easily be repaired (notice the bands around the column) or just covered over with filler or epoxy's; one of the column has had the very bottm of the baase cracked and it has broken off. BUT all the pieces are there and can easily be reattached. We welcome any questions and or input on their origin. We do know that there were 6 sets of these on the front of the building where used. Unfortunately 3 sets were allowed to go a smelter back in the 1960's and will never be seen again.
