Desirable high quality medium frame double action revolver chambered in .357 Magnum, manufactured circa 1970. Features a Royal Blue finish, 4" vent rib barrel with full underlug, pinned serrated ramp front sight, adjustable rear sight, fluted six-shot cylinder, serrated trigger, knurled wide hammer spur, serrated backstrap and two-piece checkered walnut target grips with gold Colt medallions. Revolver exhibits approximately 97% of it's original blued finish showing light muzzle wear on the left side of the barrel, a faint drag line on the cylinder, and a small spot of wear on the edge of the recoil shield. Action is very smooth with solid lock-up, the bore is pristine, and the wood grips are near fine with a small blemish on the heel of both panels. Condition is NRA Excellent. ***Modern Firearm***

'Third Model' Scarce antique lever action repeating rifle chambered in .22 Short Rimfire, manufactured circa 1888. The Winchester 1873 .22 Rimfire rifle was the first .22 caliber repeating rifle produced in American and suffered diminutive sales due to the preference of larger-caliber rifled at the time. Production numbers of the .22 caliber model is estimated to be 19,552 which accounts for a mere 2.78% of the total production. Features a blued 24 5/16" round barrel marked ""WINCHESTER'S-REPEATING-ARMS. NEW HAVEN. CT./KING'S-IMPROVEMENT-PATENTED-MARCH 29. 1866. OCTOBER 16. 1860", dovetailed front sight with German silver blade, semi-buckhorn adjustable rear sporting sight, full-length tube magazine, smooth trigger, knurled hammer spur, sliding dust cover with serrations along the rear edges, smooth walnut forend with metal cap, and straight grip shoulder stock with crescent metal buttplate. The barrel and magazine tube are blued with the finish turned to a smooth aged brown patina. The remainder of the metal surfaces display an old nickel plated finish with approximately 70% plating intact overall. The action performs well, the bore is fair, markings are faint but legible and the refinished wood stocks are good with small losses, minor hairline cracks extending from the upper tang & some shrinkage around the buttplate. Features blued 26 5/8" barrels with raised matted sight rib, blade front sight with bead top, automatic flip-up rear sight leaf, claw scope bases, extractor, double trigger with single set front trigger, under lever barrel latch, manual safety on the left side of the wrist, slinging barrel selector on the upper tang, individual brass cocked indicators, case hardened & engraved receiver with European game scenes, swivel studs, fancy checkered walnut forend and pistol grip shoulder stock with right handed cheek rest, cartridge container & checkered bakelite buttplate. Includes a 3-piece set of steel dies by RCBS for the 9.3x72Rmm cartridge and 98 pieces of brass. The receiver displays a dull grey patina with only small traces of it's case colors. The "Prima Krupp Stahl" marked barrels retains approximately 60% of their blued finish showing carry wear, thinning and what appears to be cold bluing over a few spots of pitting on the left barrel. The frame, triggerguard, hammer spring and right grip panel are stamped "26". The barrels are marked "ALLEN THURBER & CO" & "WORCESTER" and the hammer is stamped "ALLEN'S PATENT/1845". Pistol exhibits an aged brown patina with scattered pin prick pitting and has minor traces of finish retained in the protected areas. The frame is stamped “101” on the right side and “7” stamped on both sides. Serial numbers match on the frame, trigger guard and backstrap. Revolver exhibits heavy holster wear with the majority of the metal surfaces displaying a smooth aged brown patina with traces of an old refinish in the protected areas. Action is crisp with a hair trigger & only one discernable click, the bore shows scattered pitting throughout, markings are good and the carved grips are good as slightly ill-fitting & a couple small losses in the left panel as well as a single notch. Buffalo hunt, battle names, etc. "Model 1894 Winchester" on the tang. Wood is fine shape, with 5 brass tacks on each side of the forearm. Stock has a Crazy horse medallion with native American motif inletted in the right side of the stock. medallion is surrounded by 14 brass tacks. Comes in the original colorful factory box. Box has some tears/scuffs, and is missing a small piece at one end. Label is torn. Rifle is in like new condition with factory tag still attached. (1983) 19,999 made. NRA Condition-Excellent, plus.
