Polk City Kiwanis' Silent Auction will commence Thanksgiving Day, November 26 thru Sunday, December 6th. All proceeds from this auction will go towards North Polk 3rd Grade Dictionaries, Christmas food baskets for deserving Polk City Community residents, North Polk Senior High School scholarships and tuition to Camp OK for 5th and 6th graders are among a few of Kiwanis' yearly goals. The principle core of the Kiwanis mission is the belief that the most effective way to enhance a community is to enhance its children because Kiwanis improves communities one child at a time.
Purchase pick up will be Thursday, December 10 from 5-8pm at Luana Savings Bank Community Room, North Door, 855 West Bridge Rd., Polk City, IA 50226. Drive up, someone will come to your car to get your name and purchased item and they will then bring it out to your car.
