1917 Indian Powerplus
This is a great example of an early Indian in excellent condition. A 1917-1918 type N-18 Indian Powerplus Big Twin motorcycle that has been completely restored by a well known North Carolina professional restoration shop. All components have been rebuilt or restored to new condition including the complete motor, carburetor, etc. All that is needed is to complete the rear brake band and linkages. The seller has a complete documented history of the restoration that will accompany the motorcycle. 1950 circa Vincent Lightning Re-Creation

This bike has been built to Lightning specs using only the best original parts and new parts where necessary. New engine parts were fitted and were sourced from traditional Vincent specialists. The bike was built by engineers who were highly skilled and very knowledgable about the specifications of the original Lightnings. The engine and frame numbers are Rapide and are the only telltale that the bike is not an original Lightning. The front brake is fitted with alloy brake plates for safety but the original magnesium ones will be given to the new owner. The engine is fitted with GP1 racing carbs and a racing Lucas magneto with competition Lucas HT leads. Speedometer and rev counter are the large Smiths Lightning/Shadow clocks. Most of the fastenings are stainless steel, machined to original dimensions and specification. The petrol tank fitted is Lightning/Shadow fitment but for the forthcoming show the bike will be fitted with a tank made by Vincent for Montlerry world speed record attempts. 1978 Honda CR250

1978 Harley Davidson XLCR 1000 Racer
This is an excellent example of a rare bike designed by Willie Davidson. It was to compete in the newly created Café Racer Class, very successful already for Japanese and European manufacturers. It is sleek, appears fast and sinister, black on black. With its signature Siamese exhaust system, it performed well, with sub-13 second quarter mile times. Unfortunately it did not sell well and was discontinued after only one and one-half production years. Seller restored in 1992, repainting the frame and rebuilding the upper end of the engine. It runs and looks great. Included in the sale are the original factory service and shop manuals. In addition the seller has numerous spares, including a fuel tank and fender. Second owner since 1982 and has a bit over 14,000 miles on the odometer. It continues to draw a crowd wherever it goes. 1969 Norton P11
Instant Buy: $11,500 This late production model Norton P11 was built October/November 1968 but it is titled as a 1969 in California. This is a great running, very complete example of a late production P11. It appears to be a P11A but it is a Ranger 750 by serial number. This was the last variant in the P11 series that ceased production in November 1968. For every 22 Commando's there is only one P11, so they are actually very scarce, particularly in this condition. These P11s are now known as hybrids as they were made during AMC ownership of Norton and utilized the light weight racing frame of the Matchless G85CS, made of 531 Reynolds tubing (chromoly) and the mighty Atlas 750 engine and transmission. 1956 BSA DB34 Gold Star Clubman
This bike has been totally rebuilt to a very high standard with original parts. This bike has only had 600 gentle miles put on it since being restored and is now nicely bed in and running extremely well and ready for the road. 1953 Indian Chief Roadmaster
Instant Buy: $40,000. Seller purchased in 1988 from an elderly gentleman in Ludlow, MA, near Springfield, home of the Indian Motorcycle Co. factory from 1901 until 1953. One of 300 Chiefs built the year they went out of business in May. This motorcycle shows signs of that “end.” When the company was failing, they would build bikes out of whatever parts they could find on the shelf as new manufacturing had all but stopped. Hence the dealer catalogs would show an Amal carburetor and handlebars just like those found on British bikes (with the choke “wheel” mounted on the bar), but not all bikes were made as such. Earlier Indians had larger differently shaped bars and Linkert carburetors. This bike has the latter with a “352” code on the carburetor meaning 3 for Chief and 52 for 1952. This was standard and correct for this bike. Another interesting feature is the small cutout on the lower left side of the rear fender. This shows that the motorcycle was used by a police department for the siren “rub wheel” would be pulled up to contact the rotating rear wheel and actuate the siren! If you are old enough, you may have had exactly the same kind of siren on your bicycle… This motorcycle was completely restored in 1989 and was entirely apart down to the frame on a milk box in the living room. Painted parts were sent out for paint and the engine went to Randy Zorn of Island Restorations in Long Island, NY. All other parts were rebuilt, rechromed, or replaced with original NOS parts, very good used or reproductions (such as tires, tubes, spokes, bearings, etc). 1935 Sunbeam 16 OHV
Instant Buy: $8,000 Sunbeam motorcycles, during the period 1910-1937, were made by John Marston and Company of Wolverhampton, England, famous for their superb bicycles and immaculate and hard wearing paint finishes. It is felt that they were, at the time, the best finished motorcycles and the best the Marston Company had engineered. The seller believes the 1935 and 1936 model are extremely similar. This 1936 250 has been imported as a 1935. The motorcycle has the sporting 250 long stroke engine and then new Burman 4 speed gearbox and clutch which was a great advance on earlier gearboxes. 1961 Triumph Bonneville T120R
Instant Buy: $17,500. In 1956, Texan Johnny Allen built a fiberglass cigar around a 650cc T110 ‘Tiger’, and flew through the timing lights at Bonneville at 214 mph, claiming the World Motorcycle Speed record. His streamliner subsequently made a victory tour of Triumph dealers around the world, while Edward Turner, the legendarily egotistical boss of Triumph, snatched the ‘Bonneville’ name for his newest model for 1959, the T120. Essentially a dual-carb version of the old T110, the ‘Bonnie’ had a host of other go-faster improvements, including the hot E3134 camshaft, and a stronger clutch to handle the power. The machine lived up to is ‘120’ designation, according to road tests of the day, and the legend of the model was established. With a winning combination of styling flair (courtesy the pencil of Mr. Turner himself), a reasonable price, and high performance, the Bonneville became a best seller and remains so to this day.
This 1961 T120R is among the last of the pre-unit construction Bonnies, which are considered the most collectible of all variants in the long production life of the model. It is certainly among the prettiest of the line as well, with its silver and sky-blue paint and ‘mouth organ’ tank badge. Beautifully executed renovation of this hallmark year model. 1965 Harley Davidson FLH
Here is a 1965 FLH one owner bike, with 11,000 actual miles. This unit was purchased new by an Air Force colonel who had this bike flown to wherever he had been stationed throughout the world during his duty. This is the last year of the Panhead engine and the first year of the electric start feature. The bike has been repainted to the correct Hi-Fi blue and birch. The 1955 DB34 is the first of the big fin iconic Gold Stars which could be ordered in Clubman racing, touring, and scrambles specification.
