This lot is for R. Crumb's Comics and Stories April 1964 Number One with a 35 cent price and copyright 1969 on the inside cover. This was considered to be an Underground comix which are often socially relevant or satirical in nature. It is by Robert Crumb and published by Rip off Press. They also printed some of the San Francisco Bay area concert posters of the sixties. It has the hard textured cover 8 7/16" x 5 5/8" and features a complete ten page story plus cover. It is in excellent condition with little sign of use or wear. We are uncertain of which printing this is and have not shown all of the pages....more

JETEX Jet Propelled Racing Car 1950s

This auction is for an original Jetex Jet Racing car with box and accessories. It includes the original Car complete with Rocket Engine, box, papers, fuel tablet (only one - probably inert by now), and what might be wicks in the little round metal cans (sealed with tape, not opened). 1966 Red Mustang Dealer Promo

Southwestern Indian / Prehistoric Casa Grande Pottery - Large

Lot # 16 (Sale Order: 16 of 275)      

This is the first of several pieces of Prehistoric pottery we will have in this auction. They are all from the same estate and are old authentic ancient pottery. This piece is a large Prehistoric Casa Grande Southwestern Pottery Jar/ Pot, circa 1200-1400 A.D., round bottom and flared rim, decorated with black and red-brown geometric designs. This has been restored from several large pieces, which is noticeable. It shows surface wear, some mineral-type deposits, and fade to the paint is evident but colors and designs are still very visible (see pictures). It is our feeling that the surface wear and light deposits would be consistent with it having been buried for many, many years. This bowl is large measuring 6 1/4" in height x 7 1/4" diameter x 4 1/4" opening....more

Advertising Rag Doll

This is a Sunny Jim advertising rag doll for FORCE Wheat flakes. He has a monocle on his left eye and is three color printed calico stuffed with Kapok. It depicts the character known as Sunny Jim, who was used to advertise the breakfast cereal, Force Wheat Flakes from the beginning of the 20th century until at least the 1970s. Sunny Jim was a caricature of a gentleman from the early 1800s. These cloth dolls could only be obtained by sending money and "Force Tokens" to the manufacturers of the cereal. Approx size is 15" x 5" discolored from age no tears or splits....more

This auction is for a complete display box with 36 Miniature Plastic Souvenir T.V. Viewers. These came in green, blue and red with twelve of each color. You hold it up to the light and look through the peep hole on the back and there are eight different scenes from Ohio. They include the Football Hall of Fame, the Soap Box Derby and the Standard Oil Headquarters Building. Each one is approx 2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4" They are complete except that they have a small rubber band that is part of the viewers mechanism and has dried out and broken on each viewer. It is a simple mechanism and we will leave it to you to make them work again....more

Two 1970s Milton Bradley Super Hero Board Games

The first game is a Spider-Man game made by Milton Bradley in 1977. It doesn't look like it has ever been played with, as all the pieces aren't punched out.
