Imperial Japanese Shin-Guto WWII Samurai Sword

A high quality Imperial Japanese Shin-Guto WWII Samurai Sword in very good condition, though the blade is lightly tarnished (but should easily clean up). The blade measures 25" (overall length is 38") and it has a distinctive temper line. Fittings, wrap, tsuba and lacquered scabbard are in very good condition.

A high quality mid-WWII Imperial Japanese Shin-Guto WWII Samurai Sword in very good condition, with an exceptionally clean blade. The blade measures 24" (overall length is 39") and it has a distinctive highly active temper line. Fittings, wrap and tsuba are nice, but the scabbard has been amateurishly re-painted and shows damage from being hit with shrapnel or a bullet. The tang of this smith made blade is marked "Kane Hisa from Noshu Province, December 1943".

A good quality Burmese Tribal Dha Sword in very good condition. The blade is handmade and lightly decorated, has the woven belt and it measures 32" overall.

British Army M1897 Coldstream Guards Regimental Officers Sword

This very nice British Army M1897 Coldstream Guards Regimental Officers Sword was produced by Wilkerson sometime before WWII. It is heavily engraved with their battle honors has the inset brass proof mark and the issue number on the spine. It has a 32" blade, is 39" overall and shows some moderate wear to the nickeled finish. A beautiful sword of a famous unit, but unfortunately missing the scabbard.

German Contract Ecuadorian Police Sword

This rare 1890s German Contract Ecuadorian National Police Sword is in very good condition with a 31"engraved blade and original scabbard. Nickel finish shows light wear, and the grip in very nice.

French Produced Japanese Contract M1873 Sword

This French Produced Japanese Contract M1873 Sword is in good condition with a chrysanthemum motif. It measures 37" overall and is complete with scabbard. Heavy wear and tarnishing, scabbard is dented.

Knights of Columbus Master Fraternal Order Sword

Lot # 2142 (Sale Order: 19 of 287)

This high quality early 20th century Knights of Columbus Master's Fraternal Order Sword was produced by Detroit Regalia. It is very ornate with a 27" engraved blade, ivory grip and silvered & enameled fittings. Scabbard is engraved and ornate with gold wash - named "Harold Cobb" (blade named to "John A Nelson" - probably handed down between members). A beautiful sword, these fraternal pieces have been dramatically increasing in price.

US American Revolutionary War era Fighting Dirk

Lot # 2143 (Sale Order: 20 of 287)

This rare US American Revolutionary War era Fighting Dirk is in very good condition with a lightly engraved 11" blade (overall 16"), gold-washed fittings and ebony wood. Martial engraving including the US flag on the heavy diamond contoured hand-forged blade is indicative of Rev War weapons.

Master Knifemaker R.H. Ruana Custom Knife

Lot # 2144 (Sale Order: 21 of 287)

This Master Knifemaker Rudy H. Ruana produced Custom "Skinner" Knife has a 5 1/2" blade with small blood groove and knurled spine. It has elk horn scales and an aluminum guard. It is complete with standard sheath with an near unused stone. Some light pitting, but a classic Montana large skinning knife. Our resident expert appraises this at $800.

African Taureg Tribal Fighting Knife

North African Taureg Tribal Fighting Knife in very good condition with nice brass, copper & German silver work. It measures 20" overall.

US Civil War M1861 Bridesburg Percussion Rifle - Antique

Lot # 2146 (Sale Order: 23 of 287)

This US issue Civil War era M1861 Bridesburg contract Percussion Rifle is in very good condition with good rifling. The bright finish is somewhat mottled but clean, and the stock is solid with the correct but faint cartouches. The lock is dated 1864 and the nicely rifled barrel is marked 1864. Action is tight and it has a correct ramrod, brass nose cap and has a nice "NJ" stamp on the stock near the cartouches.

US Harpers Ferry M1840 CSA Percussion Musketoon - Antique

Lot # 2147 (Sale Order: 24 of 287)

An unusual possible Confederate used Civil War US Harpers Ferry .69 caliber M1840 Percussion conversion Musketoon in very good condition. This is a standard 1816 musket shortened to a musketoon configuration and has a butt stock marked "VA 13th CAV Co K" on one side and "WJW" on the other. The buttstock under the markings has been repaired by fitting a new period piece of wood. The lock is very strong, it has a correct threaded ramrod, it is fitted with rifle sights and none of the conversion looks like it was done recently. Consignor believes this is a correct musketoon conversion, possible done by the Confederates and we see nothing to dispute that.

English 1850s Fowler made from a Military Percussion Musket - Antique

Lot # 2148 (Sale Order: 25 of 287)

This English 1850s era 10 Gauge Fowler made from a Percussion Musket utilizes the lock, trigger guard and barrel from a military issue piece. Lock is weak, all metal is moderately pitted, it has a nice solid stock and wooden ramrod. It is 58" long overall with a 42" barrel.
