First Colonial becomes Oceana Blvd after a 1/4 mile, stay on Oceana for 3 miles till you pass NAS Oceana's main gate (Tomcat Blvd). At the next stop light, turn right onto Harpers Rd, go 100 fet and then turn left into the Harpers Road Commerce Park - the auction house is located on the back left.

Imperial German Model 1869 Cavalry Saber

Lot # 1 (Sale Order: 2 of 334)

This Imperial German Model 1869 Cavalry Saber is a vintage cavalry sword with scabbard in very good condition. The curved single grooved blade measures 34-1/2" and is marked "Gebr. Weyersberg" Solingen and "W" proof. The grip is an iron "dove head" pattern with a grooved thumb rest and thumb strap/loop. The scabbard has a few minor handing dents but is matching to the saber. This could be one of the rare Swiss contract sabers and is a seldom seen massive weapon for used by a horse mounted soldier.

Imperial German 1860s Sapper Sword

Lot # 2 (Sale Order: 3 of 334)

An original brass handled Imperial German 1860-70s era Sapper Sword in fair to good condition. Blade is moderately pitted, but the cross-guard is regimentally marked to the 28th Infantry Regiment. Blade measures 17" long, unfortunately there is no scabbard.

Philippine Island WWII era Tribal Sword

Lot # 3 (Sale Order: 4 of 334)

This 1945 dated war souvenir Philippine Island WWII era Tribal Sword was made in the Tugaya Province, noted for it's warriors and weapon manufacturing. It was obviously influenced by the Japanese Swords the locals encountered in their guerrilla warfare fight against the occupying Army in WWII. It is in very good condition with an engraved 18" blade.

US Military WWII Victor Tool Company LC-14-B Woodsmans Pal Survival Axe

Lot # 4 (Sale Order: 5 of 334)

This US Military WWII era Victor Tool Company Woodsmans Pal LC-14-B Survival Axe is in excellent condition with original zippered case and three instruction manuals (seldom seen). Used as a camp tool, survival axe and weapon, they are still used even today.

Australian Military WWII Trench Knife

Lot # 5 (Sale Order: 6 of 334)

An Australian Military WWII era Trench Knife/Knuckle Duster with an all-cast alloy grip with criss-cross design. It has a 6" blade and is in very good condition. The brown leather scabbard looks correct, but might be more recent. Lots of US Marines picked these up in Australia and used them throughout the war.

German Military WWI-II Trench Knife

Lot # 6 (Sale Order: 7 of 334)

This nice German Military WWII re-issue Imperial WWI Trench or Boot Knife is in very good condition. The wood grip is Nazi waffenampted & initialed, but the blade is Imperial proofed and was produced by Gottlieb. Blade measures 5" long and it has a steel scabbard with leather hanger.

US Military James Bowen Bowie Fighting or Throwing Knife

Lot # 7 (Sale Order: 8 of 334)

A high quality James Bowen brass handled heavy custom US Military used Bowie Fighting or Throwing Knife. Made of 4140 alloy and weighing 1 Lb., 13 oz. with a 9" blade (15" overall). Designed for throwing, these knives make excellent fighting knives. The Bowen Brothers of West Virginia were noted for their high quality knives. It is in very good condition with leather sheath.

Custom "DBCS" Scrimshaw Pocket Knife

Lot # 8 (Sale Order: 9 of 334)

A custom bone Scrimshawed Pocket Knife by a North Carolina artist "DBCS". It is a Frost Cutlery knife with the Cape Hatteras Light House on one side and "DBCS" and anvil logo on the other. It is in very good condition.

US Civil War era Springfield Musket Bayonet

A nice US Civil War era Springfield Rifled Musket Bayonet in good condition with some light pitting. Locking ring is present and the bayonet is 21" long.

US Military Camilius Paratrooper/Pilot Survival Knife

This US Military issued Camilius Paratrooper/Pilot Survival Knife is the later version with the shroud-cutter hook. It is in fair condition with with soiled grips and a somewhat weak spring but does work. The carry ring is broken and the push button is damaged.

US Military Schrade-Walden Paratrooper/Pilot Survival Knife

This US Military issued Schrade-Walden Paratrooper/Pilot Survival Knife is the later version with the shroud-cutter hook. It is in good condition with nylon tab, soiled grips and does work fine.

US Military Camillus Electricians Pocket Knife

A WWII to 1970s era US Military issue Camillus Electricians Pocket Knife in good condition. Blades show some staining and sharpening.

British Royal Navy 1938 dated PS&C Works Bosun's Knife

Lot # 13 (Sale Order: 14 of 334)

A WWII issued British Royal Navy 1938 dated "PS&C Works" Bosun's Knife in good but used condition This sailor pocket knife has checkered horn grips, two blades (one a combo screw-driver) and a bosun's spike. A hard to find knife.

US Military WWII M3 Fighting Knife

This US Military WWII Camillus production M3 Fighting Knife is in very good condition with early sheath. Consignor believes it's original, but Camillus reproduced these knives into the 1990s.

Ancient Chinese Chin Dynasty Bronze Sword

Lot # 15 (Sale Order: 16 of 334)

An ancient Chinese Chin Dynasty Bronze Sword with a jade guard in good condition as excavated. This was brought in from China as an example of the weapons found at the site of the "terracotta army" at the first Emperor's tomb complex. Tens of thousands of these have been found with some being sold off. Consignor says this is an original piece, and it looks correct. As to whether this is an original or not, we'll let you be the judge. It measures 16" long.

Argentine Military 1890s Soldiers Utility Knife

Lot # 16 (Sale Order: 17 of 334)

An Argentine Military 1890s issued Soldiers Utility Knife in good condition. The knife was produced under contract in Solingen, Germany and has a cork-screw, bottle opener and two blades. Somiliar knives were carried by German troops in WWI and WWII.

German Military WWII Trench or Boot Knife

This German Military early-WWII Trench or Boot Knife is in very good condition with correct boot-clip sheath. The 6" blade is waffenampfted, but looks like it is missing the guard.

Smith & Wesson Extraction & Evasion Fighting Knife

A US Navy SEAL used Smith & Wesson Extraction & Evasion Fighting Knife in good used condition with sheath. It has a 6" blade and is 11" overall.

Early American "HT Coofer" .50 Caliber Percussion Rifle - Antique

An early American "HT Coofer" of New York .50 Caliber Percussion Rifle fom circa 1850. It is in very good condition, though there is a wood repair around the lock and the bore looks shot out. Octagonal barrel is 30" long, and the rifle has brass and German silver furniture.

US New Jersey Civil War Trenton .58 Caliber Percussion Rifle - Antique

Lot # 21 (Sale Order: 22 of 334)

This US issue Civil War era M1861 Trenton, NJ contract Percussion Rifle is in good+ condition with good rifling. The bright finish is mottled but clean, and the stock is solid with the correct but faint cartouches. The lock is dated 1863 and the nicely rifled barrel is marked 1863 as well. Action is tight and it has a correct ramrod and has a nice "NJ" stamp on the stock and barrel.

US Civil War Spencer .52 Caliber Lever Action Cartridge Saddle-Ring Carbine - Antique

Lot # 22 (Sale Order: 23 of 334)

This desirable US Civil War era Spencer .52 RF Caliber Lever Action Cartridge Saddle-Ring Carbine is in good condition though there is heavy wear to the buttstock by the right buttplate and missing wood (battle damage?) by the lever. Metal finish is worn and slightly pitted, bore is very good. Looks better than it sounds, a solid example of probably the best Civil War cavalry carbine.

US Civil War Joslyn .52 RF Caliber Cavalry Saddle-Ring Carbine - Antique

Lot # 23 (Sale Order: 24 of 334)

This very nice US Military Civil War era Model 1862 Joslyn .52 RF caliber Cartridge Cavalry Carbine is in very good/fine condition. Only about 2,000 of these breech-loading carbines were produced. This example has a very good sharp bore, brass furniture, matching numbers and mixed bluing and patina. Cartouche is sharp and has the initials "RH" next to the saddle ring. A good looking carbine, valued at $3,000+ by Flaydermans Guide.

US Civil War M1861 Bridesburg .58 Caliber Percussion Rifle - Antique

Lot # 24 (Sale Order: 25 of 334)

This US issue Civil War era M1861 Bridesburg contract Percussion Rifle is in very good condition with good rifling. The bright finish is somewhat mottled but clean, and the stock is solid with the correct but faint cartouches. The lock is dated 1864 and the nicely rifled barrel is marked 1864. Action is tight and it has a correct ramrod, brass nose cap and has a nice "NJ" stamp on the stock near the cartouches.
