Welcome to Echoes of Glory's February Firearms & Militaria Auction with a total of 330 lots of military, sporting and antique firearms from before the Civil War through the present. Military collectibles of all countries and eras. Lots of firearms, Ammunition, magazines, Lionel trains, nautical, edged weapons and much more! First installment of the estate of well-known German militaria collector/dealer Fran Coombs. Remember the auction is "as is/where is" with no returns allowed - please check out the multiple photos and description before bidding. Lot # 1 (Sale Order: 2 of 337)
This Remington Arms Model 12 take-down .22 S, L, LR Pump-Action Rifle is in very good condition with 85% bluing. It has a 22" barrel with a very good bore. A very desirable rifle, but unfortunately the butt plate is broken, the butt stock split at the heel and was crudely glued. Really needs to be repaired, which should be an easy job.
Lot # 2 (Sale Order: 3 of 337)
This nice Savage Model 99 .300 Savage Lever-Action Rifle is in very good condition with 90% blue, some case-hardening, very good oil-finish walnut stock and a very good bore in the 24" barrel. It is fitted with a side-mounted Bushnell 4X Banner scope on a Weaver mount. Scope has very good optics.
Lot # 3 (Sale Order: 4 of 337)
This 1960s era Savage Model 99C .308 Win. Savage Lever-Action Rifle is in very good condition with 95% blue, 22" barrel, some case-hardening, good walnut stock, detachable magazine and a very good bore. It is fitted with a top-mounted Weaver K4-1 scope with very good optics.
Lot # 4 (Sale Order: 5 of 337)
This parkerized Remington Arms 870 12 Ga. 2 3/4" or 3" Tactical Pump-Action Shotgun has a magazine extension to add three rounds (total of nine 2 3/4'), 20" barrel, black synthetic pistol-grip butt stock, six-shot shell side-saddle, rifle sights and tactical web sling. It is in very good condition and is a $725+ value.
Lot # 5 (Sale Order: 6 of 337)
This pre-1953 era 2nd Series Colt Firearms Woodsman .22 LR Target Semi-Auto Pistol is in good condition with 95% bluing but scattered pitting along both sides of the barrel and some scratches. Bore is very good and the grips show only little wear.
Lot # 6 (Sale Order: 7 of 337)
An excellent condition Fabrique National "Baby" Browning Model 1905 .25 ACP Semi-Auto Pistol with 95+% finish, but with a few small areas of rust flecks. Bore is very good, and comes with a nice leather "purse" holster. Consignor reports his father acquired this pistol while clearing a brothel while serving in the Army in WWII.
Lot # 7 (Sale Order: 8 of 337)
This Imperial German 4-Barrel 6.35/.25 ACP Pistol is similiar to the Scheintodt style tear gas pistols, but is rifled and chambered for for standard cartridges. It has four separate firing pins that alternate for firing. It has not been test-fired, so not sure if it functions - but looks to be in very good condition. The nice horn grips are probably replacements.
Lot # 8 (Sale Order: 9 of 337)
This Colt Firearms New Pocket .32 S&W Long Double-Action Revolver looks to be re-nickeled and is in fair condition. Action timing slips & is stiff, mother-of-pearl grips are chipped and bore is rough.
Lot # 9 (Sale Order: 10 of 337)
This Italian made Taylor Arms Colt 1873 style "American" .45 LC Single-Action Carbine is in very good to excellent condition. It has an 18" nicely blued barrel, a wood and brass buttstock and an excellent bore.
Lot # 10 (Sale Order: 11 of 337)
In 2001, DPMS expanded from its share of the .223/5.56mm market, and made its mark on the .308 rifle scene. The LR-308, the first and foremost of the .308 line, and for which the rifle series in named, is a rifle to be reckoned with - including being named the NRA Rifle of the Year in 2005. It has a 20" fluted/ported barrel, 1 in 10 twist, free floating handguard and a high-ride receiver for easier mounting of optics, a 10 round and 20-round magazine, and is in very good/excellent condition. Comes in the DPMS factory hard case. Get it before Obama does.

A stainless steel US M1911 Pistol .22 LR Conversion Barrel Assembly in very good condition.

This Vector Arms V-53 .223/5.56mm Semi-Auto Pistol is in very good condition with a very good bore - complete with orginal magazine. It is missing the back plate to the receiver - consignor has yet to bring it in.
Lot # 14 (Sale Order: 15 of 337)
Originally came with Lot 13, but being sold separately. Can be added to the Vector if you get the SBR tax stamp (if you can get it in before Obama stops it). This HK93/Vector Arms V-53 Collapsable Buttstock is in very good condition.
Lot # 15 (Sale Order: 16 of 337)
This desirable Surefire M952V LED Tactical Weapon Light comes with pressure switch and rail mount. It is in very good condition, works fine and retails for $400.
Lot # 16 (Sale Order: 17 of 337)
Three US Military issue M-16/AR15 .223/5.56mm 30 Round Rifle Magazines in good/very good condition. Mil-Spec featuring an aluminum body, grey moly coating, chrome silicon springs and an enhanced self-leveling green follower and are averaging $50 each at the gun shows. They want to ban these if you let them get away with it, get these before they double in price again!

A near mint US Military M-16/AR15 M7 Rifle Bayonet with M8A1 scabbard.
Lot # 18 (Sale Order: 19 of 337)
This unique antique Frank Wesson M1862 .32 RF Break-Open Single-Shot Target Pistol with matching brass Shoulder Stock, in very good condition. It has a 8" round barrel with target sights, rosewood grips and bright finish. Front sight base is present, but bead is missing. Believe stock is slightly bent as it doesn't fully seat (didn't want to force it), but sports the same serial number. A similar example sold at a Greg Martin auction for $1950 a few years back.
Lot # 19 (Sale Order: 20 of 337)
This Imperial Germany Scheintod Pistol is an antique and was intended as both a "Gas Gun" and as a flare gun. On the left side of the frame reads: SCHEINTOD D.R.G.M. PISTOLE, and it has a detachable barrel for loading. A seldom seen pistol, it is in very good condition
Lot # 20 (Sale Order: 21 of 337)
This 1852 dated US Military Model 1842 Johnson .54 Caliber smooth-bore, black-powder Percussion Pistol is in fair to good condition with light to medium pitting to all the metal surfaces, and patina to brass furniture. Action works, but it looks like the swivel-ramrod is a modern replacement.
Lot # 21 (Sale Order: 22 of 337)
This Simeon North Model 1816 conversion to percussion single shot martial pistol is .54 caliber is in overall good+ condition showing light scattered pitting and patina on metal surfaces. All lock plate markings are 85% visible; with screw-in bolster percussion conversion. Action is good, bore dark, wood is overall good with one slight crack. Overall a very nice example of one of the earlier US Military pistols.

This 1917 produced Colt Military WWI era Model 1911 .45 ACP Semi-Auto Pistol is in very good condition with 30% finish and the balance patina and light pitting. Bore is very good, grips are very good, magazine is a Colt commercial replacement and it comes with the US issued 1917 Perkins Campbell holster.

A 1944 "ac" code German Military WWII Walther P-38 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol in very good condition with a good+ bore and very good grips.
Lot # 24 (Sale Order: 25 of 337)
A very nice Smith & Wesson Frontier 44/40 Double-Action Top-Break Revolver with 80% rich blue and a very good bore. Action is good, lots of case-hardening, but the hard rubber grips are cracked and chipped.
