Rifle is matching, has a cleaning rod and the plastic ring for the threaded muzzle. Stock looks to be slightly sanded (might be a replacement, and the brass disk is stamped above the "1" designating a very good bore.

An Indonesian Model 1895 Mannlicher bolt-action carbine manufactured by Steyr in 1897 and altered for the .303 round in 1953 with an added muzzle-break. Good condition with 50% mottled metal finish and bold markings. Slightly grainy but strong bore, looks all-matching and no import-marks.

The Italian Military Vetterli-Vitali M1870/87 10.4 mm Bolt-Action Rifle is named after its Swiss designer, Friedrich Vetterli. The Vetterli rifle system was first adopted by the Swiss Army in 1868 and later by the Italian military, and was the most advanced military rifle of its time. It was the first repeating rifle widely adopted for military service and are seldom seen as most were upgraded to the Vetterli-Carcano system. This example is in very good+ condition with a very good bore, and a mis-matched stock with very clear cartouche.
