US Military WWII Fencing Musket

A fascinating US Military WWII era Fencing Musket made from an obsolete cut-down M1873 Trapdoor Rifle. This 45/70 was modified to have the same weight, length and feel as a M1903 Springfield with an attached M1907 bayonet. Used for bayonet training and fighting. The "bayonet" on this musket is a blunt-pointed spring steel dummy. Seldom seen, this trainer is in very good condition.

Spanish/German WWII Model 84/98 "Blue Division" Mauser Bayonet

The outbreak of the Spanish Civil War in 1936 saw Hitler sending supplies and material to his fascist ally, General Franco. Both side of the Civil War were very ill-equipped and fought each other with a hodge-podge of weaponry and material. If you were lucky enough to get a helmet, you held on to it. It you were lucky enough to get a bayonet that actually fit your rifle, you held on to it. For this reason, you’ll find a lot of Spanish memorabilia named. This German bayonet is one such named item and is attributed to a "Carlos Martinez". It was made in Germany, is waffenampted and dated 1936. It was probably one supplied to the German allied Spanish "Blue Division" when they fought in Russia. These 98k bayonets are fairly common but finding one that was actually used by the Spanish makes this an exceedingly rare item for any serious bayonet collector. This one has seen use, a little surface rust to the scabbard and some staining to the blade but is in overall good condition.

British Georgian Period "William Perry" .50 Caliber Flintlock Pistol - Nazi Martin Bormann Owned Gun

This Georgian Style English flintlock pistol may have once been one of a pair. It has a turn-off barrel that resembles a cannon. Its walnut stock has a silver butt-cap and inlaid silver wire, with the butt-cap featuring a grotesque mask. The pistol has a sliding trigger guard safety. "W. PERRY" and "London" are engraved on the sideplates along with detailed engravings of martial nature. Early "Crown GR" proof marks, and a "view mark" are on the 6" barrel. It is in overall very good condition except where some of the silver wire inlays are pulling free (easily repaired). Many of these pistols were used in the American Revolution, but this example came out of Germany in the closing days of WWII. It was brought back by a US soldier who took it out of the trunk of Martin Bormann's (head of the Nazi Party Chancellery and private secretary to Adolf Hitler) car at his estate at Regensburg. Though there is no provenance except for the veteran's letters, it does add an intriguing aspect to the pistol.

Civil War era Moores .32 Caliber Front-Loading Single-Action Revolver - no FFL needed

Several thousand Moores Single Action Revolver (aka "Seven Shooter) were made between 1861-1863. It is a .32 rimfire caliber 7-shot and was a very popular competitor to the Smith & Wesson cartridge revolvers. Moore's had a short life due to it's loss of a patent infringement suit brought by Smith & Wesson. Quite a few of these were known to have been privately purchased by Union officers and enlisted men and carried in the Civil War. This example is in good condition with some silver finish remaining...but the extractor rod is a replacement. Family history on this Moore is that it was carried by a cousin of Jesse James on some of his "raids"...but no provenance to back it up.

Sharps & Hankins Breech-Loading Pepperbox - no FFL needed

The Sharps & Hankins Breech-Loading Pepperbox is four-shot, breech loading pistol that was a true gun of the Old West. It was produced in .32 Rimfire was a barrel length of 3-1/2", and is in very good condition with a nickeled finish. Rotating firing pin seems to work fine. See lot #219 for .32 RF ammunition for this pepperbox.

Imperial German WWI P-08 9mm Luger Semi-Auto Pistol - FFL # 6675h

This 1918 dated DWM manufactured Imperial German WWI era P-08 9mm Luger Semi-Auto Pistol is in good to very good with 75% finish and very light pitting. Bore is good, all numbers match except for the later magazine and the grips are good but worn with one small chip. A good representative Luger!

This Imperial German WWI DWM Luger P-08 9mm Semi-Auto Pistol was probably one of the ones rebuilt in the 1920s as a target/hunting pistol. Such long-barrel Lugers were extremely popular during this period and this example is in very good condition with a very good bore. Like many such pistols, numbers are mis-matched.
