Welcome to the auction! For the two antique cars the Buyer's Premium is 13%, NOT 18%. See lot information for further details. Starting bids are always low, and do not reflect the true value of any item. 

The catalog has been reordered and will remain in this final sale order.

YOUR BID shall be conclusive proof that you have made yourself acquainted with these conditions and those stated in "Information & Special Terms" and you have agreed to be bound by them. We encourage and welcome any and all questions BEFORE placing a bid, All Sales Are Final and all items are sold as-is, where-is.

We do not and cannot guarantee nor warranty the authenticity of any item. For each item we bring to auction, it is the bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value, or any other determinative factor; we make no representations to any aforementioned criteria, and all titles and descriptions are statements of opinion. In no event shall we be responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value.

Each item has multiple detailed photographs and are described as what we see; please use your own expertise when bidding. We encourage you to ask if you seek further clarity.

PAYMENT: Invoices are sent via email immediately following the sale. Your credit card on file with Proxibid will be processed for payment for your purchases within 24 hours of the end of sale. Please ensure the account number and expiration date is accurate and the card can bear the weight of your purchases. Issues with payment may result in a suspended account with us and with Proxibid. After 48 hours and three processing attempts, declined credit card holders will be additionally charged an auction RE-LISTING FEE of $50 or 20% of the balance due, whichever is greater. USPS money orders or checks (which must clear before item is released) are also accepted when postmarked by the day following the sale; mail to/payable to: Legacy Auction, PO Box 224, Effort PA 18330.

SHIPPING: Pickup in person for any item is welcomed; contact us to make arrangements. Otherwise, all non-firearm/ammo items are shipped through The UPS Store, Mt. Pocono, PA, at buyer's expense. UPS packages, insures, and ships your valuables and will contact winning bidders directly in the days after the sale for delivery timing and payment. Quality packaging and shipping is not cheap, and we have no control over prices charged for these services.

FIREARMS and ammo will only be shipped to the 50 states of USA. Emailed FFLs are preferred; send to yourlegacy@verizon.net. Shipping of firearms will begin the week of Feb 3rd, please have your FFL to us by then as we do not ship daily and your item will be delayed. Shipping charges for all firearms includes new long gun box as applicable, tracking, insurance up to $500, and signature confirmation of delivery. Buyer pays at-cost insurance above $500 and for unusual/special packaging (i.e. extra-long barrels). Handgun $30 East or $35 West of Mississippi River; Long gun $40 East or $45 West of Mississippi River. Any firearms unclaimed 60 days after the sale will be charged a storage fee of $2 per day beginning on Day 60; this fee will be added to the shipping fee once claimed.

Scarce Grouping: U.S. World War II Army First Special Service Force FSSF Shoulder Patch

Lot # 3 (Sale Order: 3 of 300)      

All of these insignia were theater made in Italy. General Robert T. Frederick was in command of this elite unit. A very nice collection and scarce grouping. Indian arrow head reads 'USA CANADA' with a rocker tab that goes above that reads '2 Reg Black Devils FSSF'. Also included is the paratrooper jump wing oval for the para wing. All for one money.

Two USAAF World War II Army Air Corps Bomb Squadron Patches

These were to have been sewn onto the front of an A-2 leather flight jacket. Both are theater made and cloth embroidered. Yellow winged skull bomber measures 5-1/8" in diameter. White and green patch measures 5-9/16" in diameter. Two times the money.

Post War Imperial German World War I Pioneer Battalion Regimental Stein

Lot # 5 (Sale Order: 5 of 300)      

Stein is porcelain with a pewter lid with a train on top and a lithopane in the base. Body is very finely painted with military scenes. It also lists the names of the soldiers in the unit. Great detail. Lid is tight, with no wobble. Graphics are bright and clear. Measures 4-5/8" in diameter by 9-3/4" tall. A nice addition to your collection.

Check out the color and condition in this fantastic find! Front reads 'Sky Chief Texaco Reg TM Gasoline Made In USA'. Has a curve to it for mounting onto the vintage gas pump. Extremely RARE U.S. World War II Office of Strategic Services OSS Combat Stiletto and Scabbard

WOW. Blade is gorgeous. You do not find these too often. Metal frame is original OD green painted steel with honest wear. Includes the 'pancake flipper' scabbard; scabbard itself is brown leather construction. Also includes the black rubber washer. Personalized on reverse as shown, 'C. I. CAR??' as best we can tell. Blued steel blade measures 13/16 inches wide by 5-15/16 inches long. Knife itself measures 10-3/4 inches long overall.

WWII Japanese Kokura Bayonet with Scabbard

Lot # 18 (Sale Order: 18 of 300)      

A fine example of WW2 Japanese knife marked with the four circles/rings maker's mark on ricasso. Includes guillian ring hand guard. Wooden grips are in very good condition with only a slight crack on left side by one of the screws. Blade is in overall very good condition with cosmoline coating and thick blood groove running nearly the length of the blade. No damage to edge. Blade length, and impressive 15-1/2 inches long. Includes metal scabbard, also in very good condition with gray/white finish, no rust. Japanese stamp is a four-circle marking, KOKURA (to resemble stacked cannon balls).

A fine example made by SMF of Solingen, Germany, and bears the seated king maker's mark as shown. This later model is made of aluminum and has a great look and feel. Scabbard of dark blue/black leather with two hanger rings. Blade is a stiletto type, double-edged, and measures nearly 14-3/4 inches. Handle of dark blue/black celluloid with wire wrap is in very good condition with no issues. Pommel and hand guard both have the sunwheel swastika inlay in center. Blade has long blood groove, and is clean and damage-free; some wear from in-and-out of scabbard is the only issue. Black leather throat washer. Fits securely into scabbard as it should. A beautiful edged weapon.

German WWII Waffen SS Mauser K 98 Combat Bayonet and Scabbard, Matching Numbers

Matching serial numbers 5617 on blued steel blade and top of metal scabbard; marked 'S 178 K 5617'. Marked 1938 on scabbard reverse. SS emblem on handle as shown. Handles in overall good condition with no cracks or damage. Release button works as it should. Blade is sharp and clean with long thick blood groove. Black leather belt frog is marked 'SS 0/0676 0089 43'. Leather frog is damaged, with splits at top of scabbard and at button/stud hole, as shown.
