US Postage Stamp Plate Blocks Lot 1940s to 1970s

Lot # 19 (Sale Order: 19 of 330)

This lot is for approximately 115 unused United States postage stamp plate blocks from the 1940s through 1970s. The stamps are 3, 4, 5, 6 and 8 cents. Fewer than 20 of the blocks are for 6 cent or 8 cent stamps, with approximately 100 of the plate blocks 5 cent or smaller denomination. Each block is in its own envelope. We did check some envelope at random but and the stamps inside look like they were never hinged or used as the glue is intact without any marks. They also appear to all be different, we did not see any duplicates but one or two might have slipped by as we did not take an inventory of the lot. We estimate the postage face value to be about $20. You will receive all the stamps pictured for your winning bid!

The trucks cab is one piece molded plastic mounted to a pressed steel frame. The plastic stakes for the trailer are all there, however the curved front piece has two of its tab broken off and one side panel has one tab broken otherwise the toy is complete with all of its original parts and shows wear consistent with age and use.
