Welcome to the auction! Opening bids are always LOW, and do not reflect the true value of any item.

YOUR BID shall be conclusive proof that you have made yourself acquainted with these conditions and those stated in 'Information and Special Terms' and you have agreed to be bound by them. We encourage and welcome any and all questions BEFORE placing a bid, as All Sales Are Final and all items are sold as-is, where-is.

We do not and cannot guarantee nor warranty the authenticity of any item. For each item we bring to auction, it is the bidder's responsibility to determine condition, age, genuineness, value, or any other determinative factor; we make no representations to any aforementioned criteria, and all titles and descriptions are statements of opinion. Please call or email if you desire additional photos or description. In no event shall we be responsible for having made or implied any warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. Bidder shall be the sole judge of value. Each item has multiple detailed photographs and are described as what we see; please use your own expertise when bidding. We encourage you to ask if you seek further clarity.

PAYMENT: Invoices are sent via email immediately following the sale. Your credit card on file will be processed for payment for your purchases within 24 hours of the end of sale. Please ensure the account number and expiration date is accurate and the card can bear the weight of your purchases. Issues with payment may result in a suspended account with us and with the bidding platform. After 48 hours and three processing attempts, declined credit card holders will be additionally charged a re-listing fee of $50 or 20% of the balance due, whichever is greater. USPS money orders or checks (which must clear before item is released) are also accepted when postmarked by the day following the sale; mail to/payable to: Legacy Auction, PO Box 224, Effort PA 18330

FIREARMS AND AMMO will only be shipped to the 50 states of USA. Pickup at our office in Pocono Lake is also welcomed by appointment. Emailed FFLs/C&Rs are preferred; send to yourlegacy@verizon.net. Shipping of firearms will begin the week after the sale. Please have your FFL to us by then as we do not ship daily and your item may be delayed. Shipping charges for all firearms includes new long gun box as applicable, tracking, insurance up to $500, and signature confirmation of delivery. Buyer pays at-cost insurance above $500 and for unusual/special packaging (i.e. extra-long barrels). Handgun $30 East or $35 West of Mississippi River; Long gun $40 East or $45 West of Mississippi River. Any firearms unclaimed 60 days after the sale will be charged a storage fee of $2 per day beginning on Day 60; this fee will be added to the shipping fee once claimed, or gun can be resold at the next auction.

SHIPPING OR PICKUP: Pickup in person for any item is welcomed; if you wish to arrange pickup, please contact us within 24 hours following the sale. Otherwise, all non-firearm/ammo items are shipped through The UPS Store, Mt. Pocono, PA, at buyer's expense. UPS professionally packages, insures, and ships your valuables and will contact winning bidders directly in the days after the sale for delivery timing and payment. Quality packaging and shipping is not inexpensive, and we have no control over prices charged for these services. UPS is happy to quote you a shipping estimate, please contact them directly at 570-839-8010.

Graceful curves. Stenciled leaves, word and number designs in cobalt blue decorate the front, as shown. The brown lining of this jar is of Albany slip. Grooved ridge at the shoulder. Excellent example of early American craftsmanship. No chips or cracks seen in this Americana crock. Pick-up is welcomed by appointment. Measures 12 inches tall with a 7-1/2 inch base.

19th Century Hand-blown Glass American Eagle and Cornucopia Bottle

Historical pint flask in uncommon olive green shade. Likely 1830-1850. Embossed with 1800s U.S. eagle on one side and cornucopia on other. Pontil scar, as shown. Sheared lip. Crude and fantastic Americana with good amount of seed bubbles. You'd be hard pressed to find another in this condition. No cracks, chips or flea bites seen. As nice an example as we've ever seen. Measures 6-1/2 inches tall.

1860s "Corn For The World" Clear Aqua Glass Historical Flask, Baltimore, MD

Corn For The World - Monument Civil War-era historical flask. Embossed on one side with ear of corn, and on other 'BALTIMORE, depicting the Baltimore Monument. Crude and fantastic Americana with fair amount of seed bubbles throughout. Applied mouth. No cracks, chips or flea bites seen, not even high point wear or scratches. Bottle of unknown measure, likely quart. You'd be hard pressed to find another in this condition. As nice an example as we've ever seen. Measures 8-1/3 inches tall.

Striking Art Deco Design Bronze Greyhound Statue

Superb graceful look. Looks fast just standing still. Glossy black finish. Substantial weight, yet not solid, however there is much detail; hole in bottom as shown. Unmarked; no foundry marks seen. A few slight surface finish marks as shown, and as expected; nothing terrible. Measures 10 inches from hound dog nose to curved tail, and 8-1/3 tall.

Such a neat and unusual piece of Folk Art. Hand-made wooden display box features German Iron Cross motif on this tobacco/cigarette dispenser. Sliding drawer with brass knob pulls out. Interior is sloped as shown, so cigs gravity-feed for ease. Red felt base. Possible bring-back. Perfect for the military or tobacciana collector. Personalized 1880 Pin Cushion Clamp with Hidden Notions Drawer

Lot # 10 (Sale Order: 10 of 222)      

What a clever and functional primitive sewing piece. A superb find in incredible condition. Green felt cushioned top is still intact with no tears or moth damage seen. Twist clamp for affixing to table. Petite finial is still present, which is quite a surprise, given its age. The most amazing feature is a bone push-button that releases the hidden notions drawer; the side of the box pops out when the button is pushed gently. Works well and is pretty darn neat. Hand-painted on back as shown with date, 'MDCCCLXXX' (1880) and initials, 'M. S. or M. F.' Fantastic Americana.

Hand-stenciled in black, SHARPENING. Circa 1940. Saw handle crafted by Monhagen Saw Works. Handle has eagle medallion as shown, marked L. Wheeler. Hanging bracket measures 31 inches, saw measures 28 inches.

Miniature brass fireplace tools. Where would you find something like this? This fine set was a southeast Pennsylvania treasure! Set includes a poker, brush, shovel, and clawed log lifter. Round brush appears to be natural hair and is in surprisingly good condition. Underside of base is hand marked '67'. Certainly an older set, and what a find to see all the tools present. What a great addition to your mantle or samples collection. Stand measures 15-1/2 inches tall.
