The bottom of the receiver is marked "SKEET". The top of the barrel at the breech is marked "MODEL 21 - WINCHESTER/TRADE MARK-28 GAUGE" and the left side is marked with the two line address/patent pending. The underside of each Winchester proof steel barrel is marked "SKEET" and the water table is marked "MADE IN U.S.A. MODEL 21" over the two line address. The water table and barrel flats are marked with the Winchester oval proof. The matching serial number is marked on the upper tang and barrel flat. The water table, lug and barrel flats are jeweled. Concave matte solid rib with a red front bead and a white center bead. Blue finish, gold plated single selective trigger, tang mounted manual safety with gold "SAFE" and mounted with a triple X fancy American black walnut forearm with multi-point fine-line checkering and pistol grip stock with a Winchester hard rubber pistol grip cap and leather covered recoil pad. Class: Curio & Relic Long Gun

Excellent. The shotgun retains 99% plus original custom shop blue finish with only slight handling/storage marks. The wood is also excellent with a couple of small minor dings and dents, and sharp checkering. The action needs some work, it does not always engage and the break lever has to be pushed to the right in order to close the barrels. The engraving and markings are crisp and clear. The box is excellent. A beautiful special order 28 gauge Skeet Grade Winchester Model 21 Shotgun.
