Rare Nazi 1929 NurnBerg Rally Badge Lot #143 (Sale Order 143 of 264) 1929 NÜRNBERG PARTY DAY BADGE. (1929 Nürnberger Parteitagabzeichen) A shield-shaped, stamped metal badge with a silver wash, 19mm wide and 43mm in overall height. To the shield is the image of an eagle atop an M16 or M17 helmet, to whose front is a wreathed, static swastika. "1914" is to the left of the eagle, "1919 N.S.D.A.P." is to its right, and "Partei tag 1929" is beneath it. Surmounting the shield is a bar with "Nürnberg" to it, above which is a representation of the castle in that city. Partial pin remains to the back. Maker marked to Deschler Munchen 9. Of Note: This badge, commemorating the fourth Nazi Party Rally, was worn as an honor badge by its attendants, and was officially recognized as such in 1936.
