Firearms: Winning bidders should have a valid and clear copy of your dealers FFL license faxed to us at 440-647-4006 or emailed to john@estateauctioneers.com within 48 hours after the auction, accompanied by a copy of your invoice. CC&R is acceptable as long as firearm purchased qualifies. The average shipping time for this auction is 10-14 work days from receipt of your dealers license. The winning bidders credit card will be charged for the purchase at the conclusion of the auction. Long guns are shipped insured through UPS ground. Modern handguns are shipped USPS Priority mail with insurance. A packing fee of $15 per gun (or lot) and the actual shipping fees including signature and insurance charges, will show up on your credit card as a separate charge. Descriptions and condition reports are based on a visual inspection of the exterior item. We do not disassemble any firearms and have made no examination of any internal mechanical workings or firing mechanisms. As always, you should have your firearms inspected and serviced by a qualified gunsmith. Buyers should be aware of their local firearm laws and restrictions. No refunds will be granted to an individual who purchases a firearm and cannot accept delivery through their local FFL dealer due to local firearm restrictions (you should know what is acceptable in your area before bidding). Ames ADK 1863 Civil War Officer's sword. Marked "US/ADK/1863" at base of blade with "Ames Mfg. Co./Chicopee/Mass. on reverse. Hilt is tight to blade. Handle is wrapped in wire and leather but shows cracks and wear from age. Blade shows a lot of surface rust. "7E57" is imprinted on one side of pommel while "39" is imprinted on the other side. Blade length is 34" with an overall length of 40-1/2".

The fighting knife is the same style as the bayonet but cannot be attached to a rifle. Blade length is 9-7/16". Scabbard is fiberglass. Hanger is green rubberized cloth with aluminum rivets. It is marked Wechner AG and is dated 1991. Both blades are in fine condition.

These were made for the Lee-Enfield ifles. Ricasso has crossed swords between an A within a Star proofs.

Harris Tactical Bi-Pod Model S-25. This bi-pod fits the front swivel stud on a rifle and rotates right and left. Legs extend to 20" and 27". This bi-pod is used and shows some rust on metal surfaces.

German Fire Official's Sword

Lot #103 (Sale Order 107 of 109)

German Fire Official's Sword. Attached to this sword is a fireman's troddle and portepee. This sword was made by Alexander Coppel of Soligen, as proofed by the AC/S and Swords of Justice markings on the ricasso. Blade length is 30" to hilt and is near mint. Handle is wrapped with braided brass and braided steel. Most of the gilded brass finish has worn off. This sword shows use but is still in above average condition. Scabbard is black with lots of rust showing through. Alexander Coppel was of Jewish descent and a very philanthropic individual; until his company was aryanized in 1936. In 1942 he was sent to a concentration camp and died shortly thereafter.
