Painted bisque socket head, blue glass sleep eyes, real lashes, painted ochre eye shadow, feathered brows, two upper teeth, open mouth. Marks: K*R Simon & Halbig 126 2/0 Germany. Near mint unplayed with condition, original soft blonde mohair wig, fine original complexion, original toddler body with starfish-shaped hands, and wearing original romper suit, shoes with pom-pom ties, and socks. Kammer and Reinhardt, circa 1920.

4" (10 cm.) -6". Each is all bisque with classic facial model of the famed infant baby and having tinted baby hair, closed mouth, and loop-jointed bisque baby-shaped arms and legs. Two have tiny glass sleep eyes and rare swivel head, painted socks and shoes (one pair pink, one blue). The other two have one-piece head and torso and painted eyes, one with bare feet, one with painted blue shoes. Each are marked "Copyr. by Grace S. Putnam" and size number, and two have original blue paper labels. The quartet are playing in a wooden playpen. Excellent condition. Germany, circa 1925.

23" (58 cm.) Bisque socket head with unusual facial modeling featuring very full cheeks and square-shaped jaw line, the cheeks enhanced by a wide beaming smile with impressed dimples at each end, and by a strong rounded nose, small brown glass set eyes accentuated by rose eye shadow, brushstroked brows, four square cut teeth, additional impressed dimples at philtrum and chin, pierced ears, brunette mohair wig, composition and wooden ball-jointed body, nice antique costume. Generally excellent condition. Marks: 55-32. Gebruder Kuhnlenz, circa 1890, the model number is virtually unknown, the rarity accentuated by very characterized modeling and with fine luminous bisque.

Madame Alexander, circa 1939, the doll was presented in conjunction with the opening of the 1939 film "Gone with the Wind". The doll wears her original cloth labeled costume of Scarlett O'Hara, including flowered cotton gown, cotton petticoat and pantalets, green snap shoes, bonnet.

The doll is originally attached to metal mechanical base with three spoked wheels, and when wound, revolves around and glide forward. Very good/excellent condition, both kid hands appear original but do not match (hidden under costume), mechanism functions, original finish. French, circa 1850, very early example of the mechanical toy originating with Theroude and later Vichy; the lady wears fine original gown with its matching original bonnet,.
