1959 Austin Healey 3000 Mark I Lot #502 (Sale Order 14 of 108) 1960 3000 mk1 BT-7. Excellent mostly unrestored all original car. Only one repaint 25 years ago in galsiruit signal red paint. Original color was Colorado red With red interior, the interior was changed during repaint with black leather/red piping . top is old amco brand old, rear window yellow with small crack. Top bows and side curtains good shape need cleaned and polished. All electrical and gauges work as the should.
Excellent body/ great panel gaps. Hardly any body filler anywhere. no accidents, only rust was in Dog legs and lower front fenders they were repaired when painted. Chrome and glass in nice condition.
Engine runs excellent with 65 psi oil pressure had to been rebuilt runs so good. Running 20/50 oil with zinc additive. I believe cylinder head has hardened valve seats so u can run unleaded fuel. The overdrive/ transmission work great. Second gear synchro a little soft on fast down shifting driving car more may resolve , trans sounds great, no first gear howling or noises.
All fluids in car replaced, new aluminum fuel tank, carbs cleaned. New trunk/boot lining kit, Rebuilt generator and new voltage regulator. New wiring harness ,Valve cover gasket and spark plugs. New s.s. braided oil pressure line from engine to gauge. Its still positive grounded battery. New sway bar rubber bushings and end links. New knock offs. I put 600 miles put on it last 4 months. Drive nice tracks straight, shocks/suspension good and tight, no noises or squeaks or rattles. Front brake calipers should be rebuilt just to be a safe driver, along with repacking front wheel bearings. All zerk fittings greased. Steering box leaked so I fill with john deer corn head grease, good cheap fix. Tires are old and have flat spots from sitting will need to be replaced asap. With new tire cars ready to drive safe and reliable. All lights, horn, heater, electrical etc.,,, work as it should.

It was our first ice cream truck we called "Old Blue". Engine has been rebuilt from Direct Parts, Lincoln Nebraska, new tranny, clutch, rear end, new carb, battery, and we're just ready to let Old Blue go to a good home.
She has some minor scrapes and bumps, needs her turn signal handle which broke off, but otherwise she's street legal, and roaring to go! She'd be great for getting around the farm, setting up your own food vending service or just added to your classic car collection!

DESCRIPTION:
This one really pops. Cosmopolitan Motors to prepare for auction installed new seals under the front and back lids, inspected and touched up any paint imperfections, cleaned the inside and convertible top, installed new cardboard liners under front bonnet, and sand blasted and repainted the wheels. More than $11,000 has been spent renovating this beauty.
This car was in possession of the previous owner for over a decade and he had really enjoyed it. He purchased it in L.A. and drove it back to Seattle without incident. During the time it was in his care, he restored much on the mechanical components of the car with the intention of a full restoration at some point but was unable to move forward with the overall completion of the car.
This is a very nice example of a 420 that has been well maintained; a California car that has always been garaged and not abused.
Much has been done to this car to make it reliable mechanically but very little has been done cosmetically.
The paint is the original color (Willow Green) but just completed a total quality repaint. The interior is superb. The leather is still in stunning condition. This one of the finest examples of this car that you will ever find, anywhere, at any price.

1985 Mercury ASC McLaren Lot #512 (Sale Order 24 of 108) WOW the Rare one. Second owner, Garaged and covered most of its life, Factory Show room Condition….
1985 saw an increase in sales to 407 (150 H/B, 257 conv) units for the Capri. ASC took a greater step forward as it began to offer a supersport suspension kit containing stiffer springs that lowered that car and revalved struts. The interior was treated with real Recaro seats, leather wrapped steering wheel, and a 140-mph speedometer. A new front airdam, side body ground effects, and a rear valance filled out the exterior changes. Ford, by specifying a special DSO code for all ASC destined cars (D32), shipped these cars from the factory with the Motorsport B303 camshaft and Thunderbird Turbo Coupe tie-rod ends. This was to insure a factory warranty covered these parts
Today the Fox bodied Capri is rare. The ASC/McLaren cars more so. They offer perhaps the best example of early Fox body performance and showcase the role that aerodynamics would have in automotive performance (and appearance) as the 80’s evolved.

1964 Austin Healey 3000 Mark III "BJ8" Lot #550 (Sale Order 63 of 108) 1964 BJ-8 3000 mkIII Phase I. Only 1390 made. Witch had the arm rest flip up storage console, small 4 glass marker/turn lights, smoother outside pull door handles, Much better looking than the phase II with all the goodies of the phase II bj-8. Minus the revised rear frame that heightened the car for ground clearance. New leave springs in rear. Last owner didn’t like car sitting so low always dragging exhaust. Looks better low I think , the springs are also very stiff, problem with older aftermarket rear replacement springs of the time.
Drive train is believed to be all matching number, need to get heritage certificate to confirm.
Engine runs perfect, 65 psi oil pressure. 150 psi compression on all cylinders. Oil gauge needle sticks at 40 psi until u tap it with your finger it pops up to 65 psi cold 40 psi hot. No smoke , no rattles. 20/50 oil with zinc additive. Transmission is in perfect shape, sounds great shifts beautifully, overdrives perfect. All fluids replaced. Car drives great, tight no nosies.one very good car. Stays cool, even in 90degree siting in traffic. Heater and controls work great.
All original car in every way, minus the chrome 72 spoke Dayton wire wheels, tape player radio speakers under dash, Robbins Top, carpet.
The drivers seat bottom had vinyl repaired, along with door panels and door tops, one repaint all done in 1985.
I believe to be 3 owner car. Not sure of first owner, the 2nd owner Charles Watson from Richland wa. Bought it 7/12/1973 for $1,310.00 with 74000 miles. Had little log book. Last log was 7/21/1976 with 85480 miles.
Second owner attorney Neil Gerald from Puyallup wa. Bought in 1985 for $7500 with 87342 miles. I got it with 88960 miles car just turned 90k. Speedo cable just broke last time I drove it, just need new cable. I Drove 1000 miles last few months after it sat since 1987. It was Last tabbed in 1995 but wasn’t driving, carbs started leaking but he just kept buying tabs.
Car was rear ended in left rear corner in 85’. u can see repairs inside trunk/boot under trunk floor as well as rear mufflers removed and difrent exhaust tips instaaled, sound really good like a Big Healey should. That’s when car was repainted in factory Colorado red with black coves/sides. Paint still shows well, only rust is small bubbling right lower front fender, other wise very solid rust free car. Chrome is in good shape, especially windshield frame looks near perfect no pitting , original xxx glass with rock chip, been filled to prevent cracking.
Very nice body only body filler in rear shroud and deck lid.
Carbs cleaned new jets, front carb needs new throttle shaft bushing , new gas tank, New fuel pump.
Brakes completely gone through rebuilt front calipers with s.s pistons, wheel cylinders, rubber flex hoses, clutch slave and master, and clutch rubber hose., I rebuilt brake booster but did not replace leather seal didn’t come in complete rebuild kit, so it has slight vacuum leak sealing inside booster when brakes are applied and pedal effort a little more than it should be with power brakes. Still stops well doesn’t pull, tracks nice. New sway bar bushings and end links, all zerk fitting greased. grease in front wheel bearings, need to be done old grease still. Very fun car to drive as I did every chance I could. All electrical works, except license plate light, its only thing missing and not working.

One year only car and one of 500 sunroof cars! Very rare original color of Copper Brown Metallic. Only 67,000 miles since new, this car has always been pampered and carefully maintained. All original interior with the exception of the front seats which have been redone. Very clean with no smells or major flaws whatsoever. Dash and gauges look like new. Sunroof works perfect and does not leak. Stereo upgraded to a later model Blaupunkt CD player and Boston acoustics speakers. One repaint on the exterior that was done very professionally about 20 years ago. It still shines great, but has many small flaws due to age and use. Most notable flaws are front end rock chip road rash and some thin spots on the hood from over buffing. The door jambs, under hood, and engine compartment still retain original paint and they did a good job of masking it off with minimal overspray. This car has absolutely no rust or rust repairs, it was always a California and Arizona car. No evidence of any body damage, all of the panels are laser straight with excellent gaps throughout. Runs great and does not smoke or leak. It’s a little finicky on cold starts and you have to feather the throttle a bit , but warms up after a minute and runs flawlessly. All original drivetrain. 5 speed transmission shifts flawlessly. The Forged Fuch rims were professionally restored and are flawless…Michelin tires are near new. Spare has never been used. Has tool Kit, original owners manual, and window sticker from Carlsen Porsche Audi in Palo Alto for delivery in Culver City, CA. Unmolested low production Porsche that any enthusiast would be proud to own.

1952 Nash Healey Pininfarina Roadster Lot #586 (Sale Order 97 of 108) Vin: N2204
This 1952 Nash Healey Pininfarina Roadster was originally ordered and owned by Charles Tyroler II who was a member of the President’s Intelligence Oversight board during the Reagan and Bush administrations and a long time United States Democratic Party strategist. It was originally factory equipped with a Nash 6 cylinder engine and double carburetors, but later the engine was swapped in 1957 when the first Chevrolet 348 V8 engine became available.
This cutting edge engine was bought directly from the factory. Tyroler retained the original Nash transmission. A custom dual exhaust was also added to the car. This rare beauty has a champagne ivory exterior (which was one of only two colors known to be offered during this production time) with burgundy leather interior. Purchased out of New Jersey sometime in the late 1980s by a US-German citizen living in Virginia. He drove it for about 3 years, and (this will sound familiar to many) – he parked it in his garage and there it sat for about 23 years, until purchased by its third owner in 2013.
Nash may be an American Automotive company of the past, but 100 years later we can still value the design work that went into creating some of the most iconic vehicle components. We can thank Nash for the first offered HVAC system (heating and cooling), seat belts, and reclining seats. Nash produced the first proto-type muscle car, the Rambler Rebel, the fastest stock vehicle offered at that time.
Donald Healey was very interested in creating a car built with a Cadillac V8 engine. Healey decided to set out to America on the Queen Elizabeth to try and save his motor company and meet with Cadillacs chief engineer Ed Cole to possibly have production of their V8. On the ship he happens to strike up a conversation with a tall, portly gentleman carrying an elaborate stereo camera rig. The man turned out to be George W. Mason, president of the Kenosha, Wisconsin-based Nash-Kelvinator Corporation. Mason turned out to be very interested in Healey’s concept so he invited him to visit Kenosha if his meeting with Cadillac didn’t pan out.
The high demand of the V-8 caused Healey’s request to be shot down. So, he headed off to Wisconsin for a meeting with Nash. Instead of a V-8, the initial idea had to change, Nash only had a 3.8 liter (235 cu. In) 6 cylinder. He offered the engines up front for production and only after they sold they would receive a percentage of the sale. Nash also offered to sell the vehicles through their US based dealers providing a straight path into the American Market. The Nash-Healey was born and made its official debut at the Paris Salon. It sported a new aluminum body with integral fenders, designed by Donald Healey and Len Hodges (Nash).

1981 Alfa Romeo Spider Lot #590 (Sale Order 101 of 108) We rescued this car from an apartment underground garage where the car was sitting for many years. after a good wash and placing the car on the lift we came to the following conclusions: The body has some dings and chips in the paint but no rust. The underside is rust free. This car is a good candidate for a restoration. The top is in very good condition. The bumpers rust free.
We did a complete safety inspection and then performed the following work based on our inspection:
Replaced the driveshaft and doughnut.
Replaced the leaking brake master cylinder.
Replaced the fluid damaged brake booster. All the brakes are now in good condition with good calipers, pads and rotors. The fluid system is completely flushed.
Replaced the leaking clutch master cylinder and flushed the system.
Drained and filled the engine coolant, engine oil, transmission and differential fluids.
Replaced the non functioning fuel level sender.
Replaced the spark plugs.
We performed a complete Spica fuel injection tune and set up, using a gas spectrum gas analyzer to ensure the correct fuel mixture. Proper fuel pressure verified. The rear fuel filter and intake fuel sock are new. The fuel lines have been inspected and replaced as needed.
We fixed the non functioning drivers side power window. The interior is in good condition.
We repaired the leaking and damaged exhaust and replaced missing nuts and bolts.
We tested the lights, window wipers and heater fan.
A good driving car with no immediate needs remaining. This car has the optional Marelli Plex electronic ignition system. A very good desirable and expensive factory option. The top is in very good condition. The transmission shifts well and the differential does not make noise.
