WWI Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" Propeller Lot #20 (Sale Order 20 of 126) WWI Curtiss JN-4 "Jenny" Propeller. These planes were built by the Curtiss Aeroplane Company of Hammondsport, New York for use by the U.S. Army 1st Aero Squadron of the Aviation, Signal Corps in 1915. The propeller is in good condition with just a little clean up needed. It is marked with a shamrock containing the letters USA and it also has the number SC31255 (SC representing Signal Corps.) marked on the center. It contains 8 bolt holes and measures 96-1/2" long and 9-3/4" at its widest point. It is made of layered wood with copper attached to the edge of the wings. A beautiful display piece.

The helmet plate features a lion facing a stag (the stag is missing the antlers); both supporting a shield bearing the State Arms of Wurttemberg. The scroll at the bottom of the shield features the motto "FURCHTLOS UND TREW" (FEARLESS AND TRUE). This helmet is missing the chin strap, ear rosettes and half of the metal edge around the rim. Leather liner is intact. There are a few holes in back rim. Back rim also has printed J.R. 18 and 4907.

WWI & WWII Medals & Pins (7) Lot #62 (Sale Order 62 of 126) WWI & WWII Medals & Pins (7). The first is an Austrian Hungarian Silver Merit Cross w/Crown of Kaiser Franz Joseph. Cross is inlaid with red enamel on front and back. Date on back is 1849. The second is similar to the first except it does not have the enamel and the date on back is 1916. The third is a commemorative medal that was given to Austrian participants in WWI. It has a right facing eagle on the front with the words "Fur Osterreich" (For Austria). Dates on the back are 1914-1918. The fourth is a pin depicting a German soldier above a swastika with the words Unteroffiziers Korps Regensburg 1937. The fifth is a pin with a swastika and the words Kreistag Regensburg 1934. Sixth appears to be a merit cross with an X in the middle. Seventh is a German pin with the words Tag Der Arbeit (Day of Work) 1934.

Group of Five Knives Lot #63 (Sale Order 63 of 126) Group of Five Knives. The first appears to be Arabic with some beautiful inlay work on the scabbard and handle. It is missing the cross guard. Blade is curved and approximately 15-3/4" with an overall length of 22-1/4". The second is stamped Toledo/Spain on the ornately decorated curved blade. Handle and scabbard also have the ornate design. Blade length is approximately 8-1/2" long with total length being 13-1/2". Third appears to be an Indian, hand carved wood scabbard and handle knife. Blade length is 7" with an overall length of 11-1/2". Scabbard is missing a screw and the other screw is stripped. It is also missing the metal chape at the end of the scabbard. The fourth knife is possibly from the 1900's. It has a wood and silver decorated handle. Blade length is 8-1/2" with an overall length of 14". The fifth full tang knife has wood handles on both sides with anchors stamped on the rivets. Blade length is 6-1/2" with an overall length of 11-1/4". Possibly from the 1800's.

This one is by Toledo Spain. Blade length is 7-1/4" with overall length being 9-1/4". Comes with leather sheath. Fifth is an Imperial U.S.A. in a leather sheath. Blade length is 3-1/2" with overall length being 7-3/4". Sixth is also an Imperial U.S.A. in a leather sheath. Blade length is 5" with an overall length of 9". Seventh appears to be an unmarked 4-3/4" blade with an overall length of 9-1/4". Part of handle is cracked off. Comes with leather sheath. Eighth is a bowie knife made in Mexico with animals and wildlife etched into the 10-1/2" blade. One side of the blade has V. Santos/Oaxaca on the ricasso. Overall length is 16-1/2" and it comes with a leather sheath.
